Mail Truck Chase in Miami, mail carrier released!

This has been going on for over an hour and it's all over the news. The mail carrier (a woman) has been taken hostage by an armed subject in the mail truck. The truck has now stopped and is surrounded by police and SWAT team.

OMG, I hope this ends quickly and with no fatalities.

Hopefully the (female) Mail Carrier will start some major PMS'ing & the Suspect will surrender immediately!

All kidding aside, I'm with you, I hope it ends peacefully & uneventful. Lets all say a quick prayer for the Mail Carrier & send her some Pixie Dust. I'm sure I'd need some major counseling once this was over, if it was me!

They have his name, but are not releasing it as yet...Ft, Myers Connection, a Man shot and killed his wife.

The mail carrier has been released and is unharmed. I'm so glad that she is safe. The man is still in the truck...

He surrenders at 4:15 pm, appartenly, he was with someone else, and was going to rob the truck, but, decided to take the Female Mail Carrier hostage. He fired once at police, and is going to be charged with numerous counts.
