maid service and comm hall WL

Hi,

I have never stayed at the villas at wilderness lodge and my brother is staying on our points in November in a 2 br.

Is there a community hall there?

He wants daily maid service ( I told him he's crazy), does anyone know how much this runs and can I order this ahead of time or does he have to do this at check in, and does he have to do it daily or can he pick the days?

There is the Iron Spike room that is a very comfortable homey place at the villas. Daily maid service must be requested at check in and paid for then or at the end of the trip. It does NOT have to be a daily thing, but he needs to make sure he requests when he wants it. Be sure to tell him about trash and towel so he doesn't request it for that day. As for the cost for a 2 bedroom, I'm not sure (we would never do that, so I haven't paid attention), but I think it is $25 each day for a studio, $35 each day for a 1 bedroom and $45 each day for a 2 bedroom. I might be wrong though, so don't take that as gospel. Make sure he also knows that he can have extra trash and towel service for $10 a day, and that he will have laundry facilities inside his room too.

There is the Iron Spike room at VWL. Nice place to sit and relax. But there aren't the games and activities I normally associate with a "community hall."

Thank you, I did call and find out it is $40/day for a 2 br. I still tell him it is not missed but oh well! He wants to do it every other day. I did tell him about trash/towel day.

Too bad it does not have a community hall, my boys adore community halls!

They do have other activities there such as the afternoon "duck races". Check at the guest services desk for a list of activities going on during your stay.

I'll bet your boys would love WL/VWL even without a Community Hall.

Last week there were a few games -Uno, checkers, chinese checkers available on the tables. And yes-a 2BR full cleaning is $40. Have fun1
