magnets for doors - can anyone point me to a website?

I posted a similar message on the cruise forum earlier today but quickly found out it wasn't appropriate to ask this question there. I was directed to this forum, and I still don't know if it's OK to ask the question here, but hopefully somebody can be of some help to me. I am new to DCL and LOVE the idea of decorating the door with personalized magnets. HOWEVER, I have a sorry printer and am not the least bit crafty. I am hoping that someone here can maybe tell me where I might be able to order/purchase personalized magnets? I am particularly interested in Star Wars and Disney Princess themes, and would really like to have some that are around the 8x10 or similar size. We are cruising in January and I would love to have them for Christmas gifts for my kids. I know/understand that it's not OK for the DISigners to post items for sale here - I just need someone to tell me how in the world I can maybe find someone who knows what they are doing to do them for me?

Sorry, nobody here can make you anything for you to buy. Copyright laws allow the DISNEY images for personal use only so you MUST make them yourself or find a friend, relative or neighbor with a decent printer.

Hi there! Any of the "DISigns" you see here or the DCL forum-magnet thread can be made into magents. You can print your designs like you print a document.

Here are a couple of ways:
1. You can have Staples or your local copy center print out your designs and laminate them for you. You can get the designs to them either by email or save them on to a thumb drive and take it over there. After they are laminated you can attach magnetic tape (sold coiled) that you cut into strips. The magnetic tape is a peel-n-stick on one side, magnetic on the other. Voila!
2. Available at Wal-Mart, some Michaels and most copy centers, look for "magnetic paper". You can print. from your printer, your design directly onto the magnet since it is bascially paper glued to a magnet.

You mentioned Star Wars and the Princesses. Most DISigns take a lot of ink. Just my personal suggestion, so you are not having to buy expensive refill ink cartridges for your printer, take your DISigns to your copy center.

Also, you can get free mickey heads - paint chips from Home Depot. Cut the head out, laminate and stick on your magnet. If you are celebrating something, scotch tape ribbon to the back of the mickey head and curl it. Looks cute!

I saw a thread or two about making magnets. I will look for them and post it here. In the mean time, this will get you in the right direction.

Also, there are 2 threads that make hats for your statesroom door, over your door number. SUPER CUTE!

Thank you for the info/suggestions. I had no idea about the designs being "for personal use only" - no wonder I couldn't find any websites when I tried googling! I don't have a flash/zip drive, but I can probably borrow one and will try the route of taking it to Staples or somewhere to have it printed/laminated. And I will also go to Home Depot!!

The USB thumb drives are about the size of ones thumb and come in a variety of GB sizes. Under $10, sometimes under $5.
