Magnalite Roaster

Does anyone remember Magnalite Roasters? They have been unavailable for a number of years and now they are being made again. I'm wondering if anyone has bought one of the new roasters and how it compares to the quality of the old ones.

I know they are now being made in China and not the US so that brings up possible lead concerns. They do still have a 50 year warranty.

I have always wanted one but am a little nervous that the "new" pan won't live up to my expections.

My big set is about 15 years old, I got a 15 inch roaster about 4 or 5 years ago to add to it. I ADORE it , cook in it weekly. Not sure when they started making them in China. Looking at reviews on Amazon , I would think mine was made in China .


Added.... Just looked at mine, it has USA stamped on bottom , so I guess it was made here and its a little older than I thought.

Maybe you could find an older model on EBAY?
