Hello DCL friends- must the Magicbands be purchased on the DCL website? I ask because my DD’s fav color is no longer available on DCL but is on Disney Store. Will it work the same?

Should work. Just came off a Disney cruise. Used my MB+ that was purchased at Aulani. Lots of other folks using WDW bands.

Any MagicBand+ or DisneyBand+ should work.

The ones purchased there are just fine. You can even get them from eBay but make sure they are listed as never used and the seller has a rating of 99 or 100. AND that they are the latest generation of the Disneyband+,

Mine was off eBay. Brand new. Works just fine. Shop around, but as stated above, be cautious

As long as its a MagicBand+ it will work. Doesn't matter where you buy it from. A regular old MagicBand while not work.

I'm sure this is assumed, but just in case ...

They're also available onboard at the main gift shop locations. I know that doesn't help for embarkation day or the first few hours onboard but once the gift shops open they're easy to buy and set up
