MagicBands on checkin day

Hi,
My wife and are checking into OKW on Dec 30th. We're planning on going to MK that day as well and we've booked FP+s that day. Have any other Canadians worked through this? Can you pick up your MBs in the morning, and officially check in that evening after leaving the park?

You pick up your MB's from your resort, so you would checkin, pick up your bands and then head to the MK.

You pick up your bands during the checkin process at the registration desk.

But when can we check in? We have fastpasses for 11am on checkin day.

I believe you can check in as early as 6am.

That doesn't mean they will have a room ready, but you should be able to pick up your bands and head to the park.
