Magicband Payment System Currently Down

Hopefully by the time you read it, it is back up and running. But you cannot make any sort of payment, or redeem any meal plan allocations, using your magic band at any park this morning.

I'm sure they can put the dining plan credits through somehow but yeah this is whyI always feel like a nag telling people on here you should also be brining a credit card and some cash with you into the parks and yet I get flamed when I do.

Agreed. MBs are handy and convenient, but they will never completely replace other forms of payment.

That’s a big pain when it happens and you can’t use your dining credits. It’s happened to us on a few occasions. We had to pay oop, keep our receipts and get reimbursed when the system was up and running again.

I of course left mine in the room, but got to walk back in the beautiful weather from Epcot to the Beach club, so it worked fine for me.

I'm not positive, but I think it's up now.
