MagicBand+ Pairing Issues

I just received our first MagicBand+ bands ordered pre-arrival so they are already linked to MDE. All we should need to do is pair them with my phone to update and use them but none of them will pair. We’ve not had this issue when buying them in a store and having to link them to MDE first. Any suggestions? I’ve watched many videos and have pushed and held the small button on the back but neither iPhone will pair via Bluetooth.

Try slowly moving the phone or band around. Mine wouldn’t pair at first, but there was just some magic sweet spot that worked. You might also try to reset the band by holding the button for about 22 seconds. It will beep/vibrate 3 times.

The new band doesn’t seem to be loading in MDE as I don’t get the option to pair.

Do you see it in the Bluetooth settings? If so, try to connect that way.

Is the band charged? It needs to be charged to pair with Bluetooth

Also friendly reminder if it’s not pairs it can still be used for short range like tapping in for entry, Lightning Lane, photopass

The charge/pairing is needed for long range like ride photos, light up effects, battu bounty hunters, statue interaction

Press the button for about 22 seconds. It will vibrate/beep 3 times.

Thanks for this! My MagicBand+ was being cranky just now but resetting fixed the problem!
