Magicband lost,reusing....questions about friends and family

So we returned from our trip..... my ds lost his magicband on the way home, the ticket attached was all used up...so I went on the MDE site and clicked on deactivate....do I need to do anything else? Also.... we have a MB or 2 that was wrongly sent to us (wrong names, they reissued new one to us with the right names,etc) that are basically just...here. Can I use any of these extras that are kicking around on our next trip, if I buy a ticket and attach it to the mde acct? (right now I am managing ds's acct)

.......also........ how do I remove a name from my list on MDE? I had my dads acct setup for a trip, but it was a one time trip,I can't remove his name from my list, it says I need to have 'no plan's with him to do so, yet all of our plans were from 3 weeks ago.....

No you don't need to do anything else.

If the band is not assigned to you you cannot use it. If it is assigned to someone else, they cannot remove it from their MDX, so you can't assign it to yours.

If it's a profile you manage and there is a MagicBand (or RFID Card) assigned to that individual from a prior stay, you can't delete them.
If it's a connect profile (someone that has their own MDE account), you should be able to remove that person at anytime.

If you manage the profile and they have a MagicBand assigned, you can't delete the profile. Disney IT should be able to.

If you manage a profile and that individual eventually creates their own MDE account, you can enter the email address they used to set up their account and connect with them. Once they accept the invite, everything (MagicBands, tickets, etc.) would transfer over to their MDE account for them to manage.
