So, as just a small celebration (and since its a big reason for our upcoming trip) I wanted to have a mini.celebration for Kris & I's first year married! We toasted with a little pineapple juice and champagne in our wedding flutes on Sunday...
And here are two fun pics from that day a year ago. One with my princess pink shoes, the other of Kris and I during our actual 'I Do's'
Yay! First year down, lots more to go... but its going fast already. Okay, that being said - On To Wednesday!
Wednesday we commit to walking the world. We commit, comrades, to seeing, doing, and EATING all there is at the Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow. Its Epcot day!
and when im not blasting off to space, im wishing I had elastic waisted pants. I can see it now.
The day begins with the rope drop, heading over to get fast passes for Soarin' ASAP. If we could ride that 5 times in a day, we would. Its our most favorite... and to this day, even if he's wearing sneakers, Kris takes his shoes off to fully experience the simulation. Me on the other hand, still gets scared at the golf ball... hidden mickey and all. Then because futureworld is open two hours prior to the world showcase, we'll hit the big ticket rides. Test Track, Spaceship Earth, and maybe Living with the Land? Ive never done this either - anyone have advice? Dont miss, or skip it... its a nap? lol.
Im most excited about taking on the World Showcase. Its been forever since ive really taken my time to go through and experience all the countries have to offer. Kris and Allie have NEVER done this, so im really excited to spend most (if not all) of the day walking and seeing and doing... and EATING! I know, its sad - I have two lists - one to see and do, and one to eat while we're there. I know that no matter what I want to eat a Napoleon from France, and find the Grand Mariner slushie. Eric will undoubtedly take a few trips to Germany's Biergarten
. We have to be in Italy for a 1230 ADR at Via Napoli ... which I am SO excited about. Cant wait to see what all the buzz is about and have pizza from those giant ovens! After that we'll probably get on the Maelstrom in Norway for a break... and I want to go to Japan to pick a pearl!!
Ive never done this or even seen it in Japan, and everyone seems to love it - so im making a conscious effort to head over there and do it for myself. Pretty excited about it! Anyone know how to pick the best pearl? Someone said find the ugliest shells.... weird.
Then, wrapping up the day at the newly renovated San Angel Inn, with an ADR of 715p. Hopefully with enough time to make it outside for a great view of Illuminations.
So, being a little rusty on all-things-Epcot... any advice? Must eats or sees? Anything and Everything is helpful - you guys seem to know the craziest and most detailed adventures
