Hello and welcome to my Pre-Trip report, now I have never done one of these and I am both excited and scared so be kind if I mess up lol .

About this trip we are going to be doing a magical vacation from December 14th to the 25th Starting with a Disney cruise and ending with a universal wizard. Yes we picked the busy of all busy weeks to go but thats just how we roll. So let me introduce the amazing people who will be on this trip its a long list there is 9 people on this trip yes 9 people heaven help me.

I can not work how to re-size the photos

There is the planner and stressed and fantastic trip reporter me I am 31 and in School Pre-law now that my kids are in school full time, I love planning and list!!!

We also have my DH , he is not at all into the idea of this trip at all but he has finally just givin in poor guy is one in a million and works hard so we can do this trip!!

We will also have our beautiful DD who is turning 14 on this trip!! She is nuts for Stitch

Our DS8 who is just happy to get a week off of school for this trip !

My Grandmother and Brother will also join us they usually do and are used to my craziness

And My DH invited my MIL and FIL who in turn decided to take my niece 17

So there you have the group! Originally my mother was also going to join, but the cost got a bit out of hand when we added additional people so she decided to wait for the next trip.

So me and my crazy family will be deciding on Florida more on the details I have so many for this trip coming up.

Some highlights of my Pre-trip planning to come

Private VIP Tour of Disney oh ya J

Dinning oh dinning where are characters again?

What day did you say?

To add or not to add the universal dilemma

And so much more I am free warning we went a little over board with this trip and added a lot of extras to accommodate everyone.

So we decided to do the Premium VIP tour guide for this trip, there is almost no information on this service available so I will be doing a full review of it after our trip. I was worried about it due to how little information there is but today we did our booking and I got my conformation page with some information.

We decided to do the tour for three reasons:
1. My DD has an anxiety disorder she does not do well with waits and lots of people there are breakdowns to the point of her being sick for days its not fun at all. I did not want to do the disability thing due to her not really being disabled and I hate to take away from someone who really is disabled even though her disorder does include her as disabled.

2. My grandmother and MIL both have issues with long waits and such with their hips. My DH has no patience for lines he already hates this trip so I thought this would keep the peace.

3. And lastly we are going during the week of Christmas and the lines and people are going to be crazy and this is supposed to be a magical trip dang it !!

I went back and forth on this service because the cost is outrageous and I did not even know about the service until after we started planning the trip. I only learned after a quick trip to Disneyland in June with my son. After a lot of thinking and thinking and you guessed it thinking I said what the heck lets do it and save my sanity :)

So this is the notice we got today from the VIP offices I thought I would share it does not highlight everything I hope to get more information when we get closer and talk to our guide but here is what I have so far for those of you thinking maybe &.

So there you have it IMO that there is more to it for the cost but this is more than I have found online so far. I am still going a bit nuts over the cost and stressing all about it but I hope this will benefit in the end and make this trip magical.

Oh crazy days I almost have all my ADR’s in order so happy it is amazing how stressful it is to get everything in the order you want. I am still missing two for our trip BOG and Cinderella table but I am hoping the tour guide can help with those. I am so excited for what we do have .I have so much going on with school and have been slacking due to how close our vacation is I spend more time planning then studying :confused3
So here is the as of now may be changed ADR’S for our trip !!!

December 19th Dinner at Garden Grill with Candlelight package. We only have one due to this being the day we get off the cruise ship

December 20th Crystal Palace for breakfast and for dinner 1900 and Park

December 21st Ohana for breakfast ( A surprise for my daughter who love stitch) and for dinner BOG (hopefully)

December 22nd Cinderella table (hopefully) and for dinner Hollywood brown Derby

I am making back up’s for the two reservations we do not have nailed down yet. Hopefully we will not need the backups, and will be able to do BOG and Cinderella’s Table. I know my family will not care either way no one besides me really wants character dinning lol , but I am determined to see everyone I can .

Why did DH invite the in-laws It has been a busy day I was happy we are close to our trip just 53 days to go. All payments are made and a good time will be had by all, things were going so well of course something had to go wrong.

Turns out there was a small miscalculation and my mother in law over paid she is only paying for herself, her boyfriend and, our niece. When I ran the numbers for universal I fallowed the paper that was only showing the adults that include my niece who is 17, so when I divided it I did it by the seven adults and not the children who were not listed on the papers charges, so she accidentally paid an extra 400.00 for the grand kids.

Now why I understand wanting the numbers right it was an honest mistake however, before anyone could figure out what happened she called and pretty much went off on my travel agent, the poor lady did not know what hit her. Then she called me and I explained it must have included the children, and I divided wrong, she made sure to point out she was not paying anything for the other two grandkids just my niece, I never thought she would it was an honest mistake.

It was not the travel agents mix up it was mine I divided wrong. I called my DH and asked if this is normal for his mom to go off the handle right off the bat (I do not spend a ton of time with her so she seems so nice when I do) he told me yes that is how she can be.

I did not even want the extra family on my dream vacation my DH invited them and then told me after, I never planned on my in-laws coming let alone our niece coming because I know MIL will spoil her and not do anything for the other grandchildren ,so there will be hurt feelings. My dream trip is turning into a night mare .

So they refunded my MIL 508.00 well they over refunded her so she now owes me 81.00 I know it may be petty but I want the 81.00 that she got refunded that she shouldn't have, this is money I spent and I feel that I should not have to pay another 81.00 that I already paid. I think she should only get back what extra she was charged. I am afraid that this is only the first in what will be a list of issue on this trip treat I thought I had planned so well. Sorry for the ranty post just needed to vent and I have a rule of never venting about my in-laws to my DH.

So happy finally have all my dinning worked out, I have been stressing over the idea that I will not get to eat at all the most go places, but after thinking about it this is not going to be our only trip to Disney World so I do not need to go to every one of the best places this one trip.

We got the deluxe dinning plan and I wanted to use as much of it as I could but I am not sure I will end up using them all. It would be nice if you can use your TS credits, for snacks and such. All in all we will have 12 credits for TS and I have used 10 of them so that leaves lunch or something on days we feel we need or want three meals in a day. In the end I am happy with our choices and I can always do Be our guest next time it will be something to look forward to lol.

This is what my final dinning plan looks like:
12/19- 4:00 Garden Grill (For candlelight pakg)
12/20- 9:30 Crystal Palace for breakfast and 7:30 1900 and Park for dinner
12/21- 9:30 Ohana breakfast and 8:00 Akershus Royal for dinner we will most like do a drop in lunch somewhere because we have at long chunk between dinning times.
12/22- 8:30 Cinderella Royal table and 4:00 Hollywood Brown Derby.

I cannot believe we leave 44 day’s I am so excited , I am making list for what we need to pack and making sure paper work is all in order. Next week I will buy Gift Cards. It is so surprising every time I plan a trip what really goes into the planning. With dinning now done it one less stress lol.

:cool1:
