Magical thank you?! Help.

Hi friends! My parents are taking me to Disney for my birthday next week. What is the most magical thank you I could get them? I haven’t been in years so I don’t know what kind of pixie dust is available now. I thought about the stuff they send to the room but I’m not sure I love what they have to offer. I’m open to independent companies that do room surprises too.

I guess it depends on how much you want to spend. I'd prefer a "magical" experience over a tangible gift. Maybe book them on a tour, reservations for a special dinner, a fireworks cruise, etc. Some tours aren't expensive (like the Caring for Giants tour), but other experiences are pricey.

Be present in the moment with them. Laugh together and make memories and show that you enjoy their company. I'm not sure of your age or your parents' ages, but try not to be on your phone with work or texting with friends or whatever pulls your focus away from your time together (I sound so old , but we are taking our teenager and 20 year old this summer and I'm most looking forward to just hanging out with them). The best thanks for them will be enjoying family time together.

From a monetary standpoint, if you're not on a dining plan, pick up the tab for a meal unexpectedly. Or buy them a drink and enjoy some time in one of the lounges together. Buy them a Mickey bar or pack their favorite snacks for the room.

Should have mentioned a budget! Around $150.


Also: We are going to a dessert party already but experiences are a good idea I might do that for an anniversary or something. They go quite often just the two of them. The family (me, my dad and my sister/brother in law that are coming as well with the kids) spend all day everyday talking or texting about this trip haha

I agree with madlove4disney - if your party hasn't already purchased Memory Maker, I'd go with that. Any then you can also get a personalized frame ( there are a few locations that offer that ) for them to put their favorite photo in.

You could also pick up a commemorative ornament from Disney Springs, if your parents are into Christmas decorations. They sell some really lovely ones.
