Just discovered this drink...sounds delicious! But I can't find it anywhere. :confused3 Can anyone tell me if they still sell this, and if so where it is?

Most of the Rest. have this and even some of the resort dining. This is my favorite drink and was able to get it quite a bit last Sept.

It was on all of the standard Disney bar menus in May. I had it at Narcoosee's and at Whispering Canyon.

it is in every single Disney bar & restaurant with a drinks menu that I've been in (and that's a LOT, lol...see my reviews links in my signature)

...the drinks you see on the menus at each restaurant are the specialty drinks themed with that restaurant...like at Turf Club to follow the horse racing theme, on the restaurant menu the specialty drinks are all named after something to do with horse racing the "Side Bet" for example. BUT on the table at each restaurant is the generic drinks book -- a little binder thing -- and the magical star cocktail is in there. I've gotten this cocktail at least a 1/2 dozen places...

Ohhh i'm intrigued!!!

Never seen this before i must look at the drinks menu with my eyes closed:rotfl2:

Anyone got a pic??

Magical Star cocktail as served at The Wave/Contemporary Resort-the Magical Star cocktail is the glowing drink on the right. By the way, you can take the cube out and change the setting to make it glow just one color, or changing colors. And you can turn it off, too...save it for another day, :thumbsup2

Magical Star Cocktail as served at Kona Café/Polynesian Resort (taken from my May 2010 dining review), The flash was too bright to see the glow-cube in action in this picture, but you can see how they serve it at Kona -- same flavor, just different presentation:
Left to right, that’s mine on the left: A Magical Star Cocktail - described in the menus as “Light up your celebration with X-Fusion Organic Mango and Passion Fruit Liqueur, Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, Pineapple Juice, and a souvenir Multicolored Glow Cube $10.99” This is one of my favorite Disney cocktails - exceptionally yummy on a hot day, and I enjoy adding to my glow-cube collection:cloud9: That's a martini in the middle: for $9.25, it was Godiva Chocolate Martini, a mixture of “Stoli Vanil Vodka, Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, and Frangelico”…it was strong, but delicious. The one on the right is the least expensive, at $7.25, it's called the “Island Sunset, which was “A delicious blend of spiced rum, coconut rum, melon, and peach combined with our guava passion fruit juice.”

And here’s a picture that shows the “glowing” going on (it’s fuzzy, but you can see the glow effect)

'Ohana is also in the Polynesian resort, so I would guess the same versions will be served there. Another favorite in the Poly is the Lapua Lapua...which is served in a real coconut.

If you click on the review in my signature, you'll find pictures & descriptions of a lot of Disney drinks throughout my dining reviews (wetend to like our adult beverages, lol)

Like previous posters have mentioned, the Magical Star Cocktail is on the standard drink menu so it's available pretty much everywhere!

I got one at the Mizner's Lounge at the Grand Floridian. I took a video of it which you can watch here

It was very good and I definitely plan on getting it again on my next trip!

:thumbsup2 Ok....Gota try one of those. It was interesting to read about, but the youtube did it for me. I have to get me on of those. :goodvibes

Yay, so happy to find out it's a standard drink! We were already excited for Lapu Lapu and the Blue Glowtini, and now we can't wait for this one as well! And thanks for the Youtube video, it's got us even more excited! :yay:
