Magical Racing Tour game

I'm not sure this is the right spot for this but I read somewhere on these boards about a Walt Disney Quest video game called Magical Racing Tour. I know my grandson has the "gameboy advance sp"(?) So far I have been unable to find this game but what they show when I do a search is a game that is available for Game Boy Color. Will this play on my grandson's player if I am ever able to find it. I have learned so much from these boards. Thanks so much to you all.

Well, I don't know if this belongs here, either, but, being the game expert I am...


The game Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour does have WDW themed race courses. It was released for the Sony Playstation, the (now defunct) Sega Dreamcast (the version I have), and the Game Boy Color (I didn't think it was, but I did some research... I was wrong originally!).

If you found the Game Boy Color version, it would work on the Game Boy Advance SP. However, used Game Boy Color games can be hard to find. Also, I read that the Game Boy version isn't very good. If your grandson has a Playstation or Playstation 2, you could get him the Playstation version. It's a lot better.

I saw this game at best buy for PS, and it came with 2 other Disney games. I didn't buy it though because it had no price, and I hate asking for price checks ;(

If you're a big Disney fan, it's a pretty fun game. A lot like Mario Kart, if you've played that.

Thanks to both of you for your help. My DH and I are talking grandkids to Disney and I wanted the Game Boy version to give to oldest (9) GS while we were there. I know he would have his game boy with him. But he does have PS2 so I just may have to go with that version. I will check out the multipak at Best buy. Thanks again!!! I knew someone here could help

There was also a version for the PC. The Gameboy version isn't very good. Not many driving games are on that handheld because it does not have analog controls. Plus the graphics can't do the game justice.

The Haunted Mansion level is the best one! You drive THROUGH the fireplace below the aging protrait.

The Playstation version is cool, but the Gameboy one isn't very good. I bought it off Amazon to play on the plane on the way to WDW. The controls are pretty easy, actually you don't even really have to steer and the graphics aren't really good at all.
