It all depends on how things work as we move toward retirement. We are not making plans for vacations in 2014 as that is the year for finding our retirement domicile. But I will continue to monitor this thread in case we get to book the cruise last minute.

It was a great trip, primarily at Aulani. We are going back hopefully in Feb (need to rent points when we get back from Disneyland!).

I blog all our trips so feel free to go through the archives! I have DL, WDW and DCL trips in there

I finally had a chance to sit and read your blog. Your flight from well you know where would have caused me stress ! Your children are adorable ! The room, drinks and food looked fantastic ! I had the chance to visit while we were in port but I didn't. So much to see and so little time. I did go to Pearl Harbor and I was glad that I did. That was a moving experience. Lucky you can go back in Feb. Did you try the choc. shortbread cookies they sell ? They sold them on the Hawaii sailing and were from Aulani. They were soooo good !

I can understand Jan..........You do know that you can book cruise and then change it if needed right ? At least it's not ruled out that you might be on this cruise.

We just got back to Barcelona on the Magic ( yesterday) and while on the ship, the only news we received (that I had not already heard) regarding the updates on the dry dock were that Topsiders is being expanded to be like Cabanas, Parrot Cay will be completely redone with a Brazilian theme and Rock-n-Bar D is going away to be replaced by some other adult venue. Originally they were going to redo Animators but have decided to leave it as is with just some electronic updates.

Greece and Turkey were fantastic btw...

Originally they were going to redo Animators but have decided to leave it as is with just some electronic updates.

Greece and Turkey were fantastic btw...

I wonder if they are going over budget..?

Any insight/navigators you can share on the Greek cruise? We are going on the one next month and my plan is to book this cruise while on board. Glad you enjoyed it...seems like the few reports I've seen have all been very positive.

So excited to be onboard this cruise! This will be our 3rd Disney cruise (Dream last summer, and Fantasy Christmas cruise). Cant wait for next October to come already!! We have a family verandah on the 8th floor. Bill, Kalee, Dominic-13 and Jayden-5 at sailing. Also, we are interested in doing the Cosol tour in St. Lucia if anyone wants to join in on a van. Not sure how many vans our booking has so far but I'm sure we could get a few more.

Forgot to add, my mom and sister Emily (11) will be on board next door to us too!! We would have 6 to add to another van.

Luck you ! Welcome back ! I was really looking forward to Animators being changed. We enjoyed it on the Fantasy and I wanted my DD to experience this in January.

Welcome Aboard and to the Dis. There still is interest in this tour and we still have time on our side. People have been reserving there own van so we don't all end up on a bus.

We are in the Atlanta airport awaiting our flight home from our Med. cruise. Barcelona--Ville Franche--La Spezia (Florence and Pisa)--Rome--Naples (Amalfi Coast and Pompei)--day at sea--Venice for most of two days--Dubrovnick Croatia--sea day--Malta--sea day--back to Barcelona and flying home. One of our tour guides kept urging us on by saying we were not on vacation, we were on a TOUR!!

This has convinced us we need more sea days and less port-intensive cruises. Tom's work schedule looks like our best bets to achieve this goal are either the East bound TA or the 5 day Caribbean with two CC days which we will do if the kids want to go. We would do the TA alone-together.

Have a great Southern Cruise--maybe we can do it when we retire.
