ok, i am not sure if i am posting this in the correct thread but here goes..

i amhoping to create some magical moments of my ownwhen we return to wdw next year for my family...it will be extra special as my sister will be coming with us so i want to make sure it is extra special for all of us.
the kids ages will be 14,13,12,10 and i want to make them special little bags with treats in, for example

epcot passports
autograph tags
luggage tags
travel journals
dollar wallets

any ideas or pictures on what you have done and made for your children to make it special?

also any tips on special things to do?

read some whereabout a dessert at beaches and cream called the kitchen sink...looks amazing!!!
i am thinkin of arranging little treets like this to ensure it is extra special...

My girls were 15 & 10 when we went last time. A couple of things I did...

I had purchased pjs for everyone that were wrapped and placed on their beds. DH and I got them too. I picked these up at Walmart for us girls. I wasn't sure what to do about dh but ended up getting him some comfy boxer shorts and used a pooh iron-on decal on them (he's a big/tall size so I couldn't find anything to fit him pre-made). Everyone loved this idea.

Each morning they got a special gift - these were small trinkets mostly. One day they each got a pair of Mickey socks (again Walmart). One day it was a Pooh pen from the dollar store. They were all small, silly things really more suited to little kids but they loved the idea, it brought out the "kid" in them and every day they looked forward to what they would get (LOL). I found a bunch of disney themed gift bags at the dollar store and used them some days.

Another thing they liked was that some of the snacks I brought along for in the room were Disney themed - princess fruit snacks, mickey cookies, movie themed candy, etc.

Another thing I did was to print out a daily "agenda" for each person. Basically it just said what park plan or meal reservations we had for the day. It was like on a cruise ship when they slip a daily plan under your door each morning.

Even though the kids were older I did lots of the silly little things everyone plans for the little ones and the girls loved it. Of course they made fun of me about it but they also liked it and thought it made the trip a little extra special.

those ideasare the exact thing i m looking for..many thanks!!!!

i hope to post my creationsand ideas as i go along, we plan to go oct 08 so plenty of time for lots of special ideas

Love the ideas!

We got a My Pal Mickey from eBay that we plan to have 'waiting' (dh will take up the luggage and unpack him while we check out the resort a bit first) for my dd's in the room.

One question though - how does one get Epcot Passports?

In January 06, I made a photo scavenger hunt for each of the parks & gave everyone a disposable camera. I tried to find obscure things for everyone to find like the key under the mat at Muppetvison at MGM and DeVine at Animal Kingdom. I assigned points to each shot, the most for obscure things like a picture of anything inside Everest at AK because it wasn't open yet. When we got back, we developed them and had some true jewels. I picked up a nice frame while we were there for the grand prize. It was a blast and got everyone involved.

I would also get all the kids a disposable camera to take their own pictures. My DD"s pics had alot of pics of people's legs but she actually had some really good pictures that were form a kids eye view. Maybe give them all Disney Dollars for spending $$. Get matching t shirts fo rall of you. Disney shopping has the Disney logo t-s and tanks for $4.99 right now. I also made a little information packet for my DD's. I included a park map, an agenda of the days activities and meals, a picture of the parks or things they would see that day. I bouht the girls light up princess necklaces and a spinner for Sprectromagic.. They were thrilled and much cheaper than buying them at the parks. Your group may be a little old for that but to be honest I love those stupid little light up things myself.

love the suggestions .

have seen a thread for a photo scavenger hunt for world showcase that looks real cool to try out....any body have any other sugestions???
