Since I started this thread I should at least answer your question. I actually typed incorrectly in my first post. There are three disney outlets stores off disney property for WDW merchandise. 1 Store called Character Premier (I already forget the name and I was thre 2 weeks ago) and can be found in the Premium outlets shopping plaza. The plaza is about 1.5 miles from disney property and can be accessed quickly from I - 4. Awesome store, we bought toys, magical moment pins, posters, plates, etc from this outlet at 50% to 75% original price. Some items were old some were not. For example 100 year of magic pin = OLD. Disney Bear currently selling in the parks for $25.00 we paid $6.99.
2 other outlets can be found in another outlet mall about 7.5 miles from disney and vitually on top of Universal Property. The outlet chain is called the Belz outlets. They have two outlet malls next to each other and both have a WDW outlet store. One called Character Premier(I think), they other Character Warehouse. This mall can also be accessed from I - 4.
All three outlet stores are awesome and saved us some $$$$$. We loved them and want one here in NJ in our local mall - LOL.
We never knew about the outlets until this year. Our trip was on July 20 - 27 and we spent our first day hitting all three before visiting the parks and out last day making the purchases from the store. We were a tight budget since we settle on a house in a few weeks. We purchased what we REALLY REALLY wanted and are so happy we found the outlets. I first heard of them on these Boards. Best TIP I ever read.
