We just got back from a 3.5 day trip to Florida for my Grandmother's 80th birthday. While there, my Dad and I decided to take my DS(3) to MK on Saturday. We drove the 2.5 hours there and boy...was it worth it!!!
We arrived at about 9:30 and headed straight for Fantasyland to Peter Pan ride. The wait was 20 minutes, so I was going to get FPs and go take some photos...well, a CM came over and started talking to DS and asked him if he wanted to go on Peter Pan...DS said he wanted to go on Buzz Lightyear
Thank Goodness the CM was awesome and he said "I see he speaks "No" fluently" we laughed...and he led us through the FP line with no Fast Passes! He asked DS his name and told us to have a great time on the ride. When we got off the CM was waiting for us and told us that he was a Lost Boy and that Peter Pan asked him to ask DS to be a Lost Boy too and gave him a certificate that says so! It was awesome...Of course, my Dad had no idea what was going on and DS was in his "No" stage...No he didn't want to be a lost boy, No he didn't want to stay young forever....it was actually pretty funny...I kept saying "Yes you do...that would be so much fun!"
Then...a little while later we went to Toontown to see Chip and Dale and a CM came in and told us that we were all leaving with YOAMD lanyards and pins....it was incredible.
It was quite the magical day on so many levels!!!
