Great find on the stroller!

Thanks! :goodvibes

Kari,

Nice free stroller. You definitely lucked out. Maybe you can find a small bag that clips on or velcros that you can put by the handles that can serve in place of a basket. I wouldn't get anything too big, though, it may tip over. Had that happen many times. LOL:rotfl:

Yes, that's a good idea. About the tipping over, yes we have had that happen before. When the kids hops out and everything spills. Yeah, that's always fun. :rotfl:

Here is the stroller accessory I picked up today for our trip.

Since the stroller doesn't have any kind of drink holders or baskets I knew we would need something to add on to it.

That looks perfect, Kari! You were lucky to find it. Now I just wish I could find the fan misters for our August trip! I could only find big ones, I wanted small hand held ones.

Here is our Finding Nemo movie night, it was a fun one!

FindingNemoMovieNight-Xavier8Tasha5-July2011.jpg

Found this movie poster sign (made of a plastic/canvas type material) at a garage sale this summer for $1!!!! Perfect! I just painted the very bottom of the sign with various blues to look like water and cover up the movie shop's writing. (Didn't actually end up needing to do that, because it was covered by the table.) I also added a "Finding Nemo" sign to cover up the movie shop's logo.

Thanks! Never know what you'll find at garage sales. Now I wish I had grabbed the others signs they had. They weren't Disney movies, but I could have used the back side of the sign to paint on. :headache:

Those fish made from bottles are so creative! Another fantastic movie night!

Thanks! :goodvibes I was happy with how the fish craft turned out, it was a cute idea.

We did our USA week the week surrounding the Fourth of July. (In case you missed Mexico week, we are covering all the countries of Epcot's World Showcase before our trip.)

We didn't do as much for this week, but we're busy with all the usual Fourth Of July going ons. (Fireworks, parades, festivals, camping, beaches, picnics, etc.)
Here are some of the crafts we did do (forgot to get pictures of some).

We also read LOTS of books, too. (Next country will be Norway.)

VERY awesome!! Where did you find the USA floor puzzles? Specifically the one with all the pictures on the states? I had wanted to do a lesson on each country as well, but had no idea where to start since my kids are so young. 2 and 4. (Birthdays coming soon though) You've given me such good ideas!!! Great idea doing this during 4th of July week! Also, thanks for saying my monsters are cute. Your kids are adorable. I love how their eyes just light up when you do these family nights with them. Keep it up!:yay::yay:

The floor puzzle with the pictures was from a traveling book type salesman at the daycare my sister works at. Sorry, I know that doesn't help you at all. The small puzzle is from Target I think. The large magnetic puzzle was from a Nasco, an educational supply catalog. Which is an awesome place to buy fun educational stuff for your kids!

I'm loving your movie and Epcot nights!!! Very good :thumbsup2

Thanks so much!

Well, first things first. We just changed the dates of our trip. We pushed our arrival & departure dates back three days. So we are now leaving on November 13th instead of the 10th. To take advantage of the free dining that came out we had to switch. I really didn't want the hassle of refiguring everything out and rebooking ADRs, but it did save us some money. It wasn't a lot, but was still worth it. (Since we no longer got the room discounted as originally booked, but the difference was still good.)

So after figuring out everything from scratch pretty much (what days going to which parks, making ADRs, touring plans predictions, etc) I think we have everything set once again. The one thing I am extremely disappointed about was not getting an ADR for Chef Mickeys on arrival day. I had got up at 4 a.m. 180 days out to make sure I got this and the other ADRs I wanted and now there is nothing available the entire first day. I am going to keep checking every day until the trip in hopes of a cancellation. But for now I have a breakfast ADR on our second day at 7:10a.m. Which is not an ideal time to try and get to, but we will work it out somehow.

So now onto flights. We finally booked our flights and were able to get the times I wanted. Our original trip dates the flights were not at good times, so I am happy with how this worked out.

plane.jpg

My husband and I hemmed and hawed about seating arrangements with the two kids. The plane we are on as seats three and three. We ended up deciding on the kids and I on one side of the plane and my husband in the aisle seat next to us. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on this? Do you think this is a good arrangement or did something work out better for you?

Sorry for such a rambling post. Next post will be more fun and include lots of pics!
