I purchased two of these pairs of earrings for my daughter and I to wear during our trip. They are really cute, very dainty and not overly "Mickey".

I got a similar necklace at disneystore.com that has blue topaz instead of clear. I thought my DD and I may take turns wearing it. It is almost the same. Very cute and very subtle "Mickeyness"!!

P.S. also loved your Aladdin night. So adorable!!

Just came across this tonight doing my regular "gluten" search....we're doing a one month gluten-free trial right now to see if it will help with assorted health issues--so I actually have no idea yet if we'll be gluten free for our September trip, but I like to be prepared! Anyway--just wanted to say that I'm really enjoying your pre-trip--the movie nights are incredible! And your kids are such a great age for a Disney trip. We've done a few trips, but I keep thinking that this year's trip, with my younger two being 8 and 5 like your two, is going to be amazing; PERFECT ages for it, I think.

Glad you found my PTR. Let me know you have questions or anything about being gluten free. I've been gluten free for a year and a half now. Still learning as I go, but it is definitely worth it. I was super nervous about going on vacation and dealing with my food issues, but have been reassured by numerous people that Disney is awesome for allergies.

We had originally thought we would take the kids to Disney a couple of years ago, but kept thinking our daughter was too little. I agree that this is the perfect age. They are both young enough to really enjoy all the magic of Disney, my daughter is into the princesses now, but she is old enough to be able to walk a good portion of the time (still bringing the stroller).

Aladdin is one of my fav Disney movies. I worked in a video store back in the day when that movie came out and we used to play it all day long, I knew it by heart! LOL My boys love it too now! I'd love to get a picture with Aladdin and Jasmine this trip, didn't see them other than in the parade last year.

I took a friend to Disney a few years ago that has numerous food allergies and she had no problems and the chefs and wait staff were very nice didn't act put out or anything

One question: on your binder, did you laminate a piece of paper then glue it to the front of the binder? It didn't look like it was under a plastic cover. Something I am definatly going to scrap lift.

Thanks! It is always great to hear good things about allergy reviews from others. About the binder, I did not laminate the cover piece. I'm sure that would totally work if you wanted to though. The corners of my binder are getting a little bent up, but not terrible yet. Have fun making yours!

I have been on the lookout for a stroller to use for our trip. We obviously don't use a stroller any more with the ages of our kids, but felt it would be necessary for the Disney trip. I wanted a smaller, lightweight stroller similar to an umbrella stroller but sturdier. I was looking at the McClarens, but didn't want to spend that much on a new stroller. So I've been keeping an eye out on Craig's List, garage sales, and consignment shops hopping to find one before our trip. We I totally lucked out and got this baby for FREE.

My sister works as a teacher at a daycare and had a mom bring in three strollers she wanted to get rid of. The daycare doesn't use single strollers, so she had to pass on them. The lady said she was just going to throw them in the dumpster if somebody didn't take them. So my sister took this one for me and another worker took the other two.

I was so excited about it. It was the perfect Disney colors (yes, I'm a total dork), clean, great shape and pretty much exactly what kind of stroller I wanted. Score!!!

I cut out the straps/buckles since we obviously won't need those and they will just be in the way. The only down side of this stroller is there is no basket underneath. I actually don't even know if strollers like this ever even come with a basket. But that is definitely something I can live with. Ya know, especially since it was free.

And here is the stroller license plate I'm planning on hanging from the back somewhere. Figure that will make it easier to quickly identify our stroller in the stroller parking. (I laminated it to withstand any rain.)

Nice free stroller. You definitely lucked out. Maybe you can find a small bag that clips on or velcros that you can put by the handles that can serve in place of a basket. I wouldn't get anything too big, though, it may tip over. Had that happen many times. LOL
