Magical memories and You-what is is? Is it remotely worth seeing?

Is there a better place to be for the fireworks? How long in advance should we be there?

(we'd like to see fireworks, and have decided to skip Fantasmic I think due to the wait time for it and scare factors for our 3 yo)

I am a senior citizen, so I've seen a lot of fireworks.
But Disney's are by far the best I've ever seen. I always make sure to watch them every day I am at DLR.
We've watched them from various places. The last time we had dinner at the Plaza and stretched out our dinner and dessert until they started.

They show projections on It's a Small World facade while they play Let the Memories Begin song. We enjoyed it last summer, worth seeing. Should not scare a 3 year old.

You can see the fireworks from back there, but some sight lines are blocked. We prefer being in the hub, we have snagged benches 30-60 minutes before the show.

Disney firework shows are always worthwhile ! With a 3 yo plan to watch from Small world area and head in 15 minutes prior to show. The tradeoff in view should be worth the convenience

Just a small correction to your post :)...The Magic, the Memories and You is a projection show displayed on IASW nightly before Magical, which is the fireworks show. I suggest searching Youtube for a video of the show. If it's anything like the show @ WDW, yes it is definitely worthwhile. Sadly, we never made it to see to the show @ DL last week. :( Magical was good, but I prefer Wishes. F! was awesome, but probably a good choice to skip it with a 3 yo.

I think The Magic Memories and You is absolutely worth it! We made a point to see it last week, after seeing it a couple of times in WDW last year. It's wonderful, and your 3year old would love it!

I read this the first time and I was scratching my head-interpreting it as everything was at IASM. Now I see the Magic confusion. I know there needs to be special names and all but it is so confusing. I think *fireworks* no "magical=fireworks"

But, anyway, (1) how long is magic? (2) and you can see all the fireworks and hear the music of Magical if we just stay in the same IASM spot? Or should we move around? Is there a better place to sit for this? What time should we plan on sitting there?

Thanks!
