Great updates. I can't wait to hear about your second chance at MNSSHP! We really enjoyed WCC, the kids had fun. I didn't research it first so had no idea what they did there. I was really embarrassed when my mom called me while the waitress was standing there and she did her thing

I can't wait to ride TSM, looks really fun. I'm glad Kaylee loved RRC ~ it's so fun!

Glad to hear that Kaylee got to ride RNRC and loved it!!! Sorry Thomas was giving you a hard time while they were on the ride. I know it must be very frustrating when you're in a public area and your child is acting up. It's to bad that Sci Fi couldn't get you into a car for lunch. My kids would have been disappointed to sit at a table when they were young too. Sounds like you had a great time at WL though. That's our favorite deluxe hotel. We just love that lobby! Can't wait to hear about your evening at the MNSSHP!

Your are probably right! I got him a camera for Christmas, nothing expensive though.

Sci Fi is on the list for next trip for sure. I took a peak in there and the kids would love the atmosphere. Thomas would love to sit in those cars. I love WL too .

MNSSHP Take Two:

After Thomas (Kaylee just rested) & Tom took a long nap and we all took showers and baths. It was time to get ready for MNSSHP again.

We took the bus and arrived at MK around 6 PM. Thomas really wanted to ride Buzz since we missed riding it the night before when we left. So that is where we went first. It was a short wait maybe 10 minutes. While I was in line I noticed a little girl who looked familiar. Then realized it was Sara (mom2mek) with her DD Emily. She was surprised to see us at MNSSHP this night since she knew we would be at the Thursday night party. So we chatted very quickly as the line was moving. Then we boarded the ride. I let the kids ride together again but told Kaylee not to spin it too much with her little brother. Of course Tom had the higher score again.

After I took the Zurg pic, Sara was just coming out of the Buzz. I really only got a minute to talk with her as Thomas was pulling me over to the toy section in the shop and Tom made sure he got out of that store quickly so he didn't have to put up with Thomas wanting everything . If everyone wasn't running in 3 different directions I would have at least like to get a picture with her. Sara and her DD are just as pretty in person and it was nice to meet them even though it was brief.


I had to drag Thomas out that shop the ebst I could. Then we looked at some souvenirs at the cart outside. It's mostly Toy Story themed toys and pins. Thomas found a Wheezy the penguin toy and quickly ripped the tag off and then told us now we had to buy him. We would have let him get the toy regardless because I have never seen Wheezy before in Disney store and Thomas likes him. But he still got a lecture that he can't rip off tags until I buy the item because he will get in trouble since it's not payed for yet. We payed for the toy and decided we were getting hungry and it was close getting close to the time for the party events to start.

I didn't really care where we ate dinner since I was still sort of full from that big lunch at WCC. Tom wanted to eat at Casey's since he hadn't had a chance to this trip. The rest of are not crazy about it but we go anyway. I didn't take food pics here because they don't really have tables but bleachers. My kids like the old Mickey cartoons playing though so we stayed and ate inside. It was just hotdogs and french fries since that was what they serve. Tom liked it okay but the kids and I didn't finish ours.

By time we got out of Casey's it was after 7 already. It was time for a quick ride on Peter Pan. After we walked over to the dance party at Ariel's grotto so Thomas could see Chip & Dale. They were very cute and Thomas even got to dance with them.

A spin on the teacups was next. I think this picture is so funny!

We were thrilled to have such good weather and no rain tonight . Toon town to see Mickey and Minnie was next
on our list. We walked through Minnie's house first. I told Tom to take the kids picture on the minnie's couch since we get that photo every year. Then I quickly went to get in the line since it was all the way back by Minnie's kitchen and a very long line. When we got home and I looked at the pictures I notice I have only one kid on Minnie's couch I guess Tom just doesn't get the point of the picture but I make sure to show him the yearly pics of that photo spot. Fopr some reason 2003 is not on the computer, it's just Kaylee right before I was preggo with Thomas. But here are the rest.

We waited to see Minnie for about 40 minutes. Way too long for me. Minnie's costume was so cute and the kids were excited to see her.

After that we wanted to see Mickey but the line was even longer than Minnie's. Thomas really wanted to ride Barnstormer so Tom and him rode while we walked over the trick or treat area. We stop at the first Candy spot with the cards and I realize I don't have the camera and autograph books. So I call Tom and he has it. So Kaylee and I wait for them on a bench near the front of the path so they can meet us when they are done with the ride.

Then it was on to trick or treat. It was fun since Kaylee was dressed as Alice in a themed area. The first character we saw was Walrus. I guess he is only out once a year.

Thomas only got out of the stroller to see White Rabbit. He didn't care about walking the path. Notice Kaylee is using her Ariel purse for a trick or treat bag, she has a mind of her own though I don't always like her ideas.

When we were done it getting close to time for Hallowishes. There were not many good uncrowded spots left. So we sat near the castle on the curb with the rest of the crowds. This was a bad idea since we had a tree in our way and didn't want to stand up to move while others were watching. Though we kept having people just walk and stand right in front of us I guess they think they were invisible or something. I did get a couple pics but they are not that good. We did enjoy Hallowishes alot though!!

MNSSHP continued.....

When hallowishes ended it was a mad house near the castle so we tried to get out of there quickly. We wanted to ride HM but it had been broke down earlier in the night and some people were stuck for a hlaf hour on the ride. So that was out. Kaylee and I went to do the trick or treat path near Liberty Square. Thomas was tired so the boys rested on a bench while we went. I have to say we were all getting really tired but I was determined to see the Boo To You. Thomas had fallen asleep in his stroller already.

Since we were tired I thought watching from Main St would be good so we could leave right after. We went to find a sopt and there were plenty of them left and we had about 20 minutes before parade would start. Tom and Kaylee went to get snacks and drinks while Thomas and I waited. He was still asleep but I hopd he would wake up at least to see the Parade because I knew he would love it.

We had a nice time waiting for the parade without it being so crowded for a change. The Headless Horseman came galloping up Main St, I tried to get a picture but it didn't turn out. Kaylee layed across my lap and the next thing I knew she was asleep too. But there was no way I was leaving even if all of them slept throught the whole thing .


Kaylee slept right until she was woke up by the parade music. There was no waking up Thomas though, a herd of elephants and a marching band couldn't wake him up. SO he just slept in his stroller beside us while enjoyed the parade. Needless to say we all loved this parade. It was really and fun to see. We have watched it at home already on DVD. Sorry the pics aren't that great.

I have no idea what Country bears have to do with halloween

At the end the Candy truck comes down Main St and they hand out candy to everyone.

When the Parade was over we walked to the bus stop and got right on a bus. Thomas stayed asleep even when I changed him inot his PJ's and slept unitl the next morning. The rest of us were just wiped out and ready for some rest.

Hi Sara,
Welcome back . I can't wait to hear all about the girls trip. I told Tom I was annoyed with him since I was wishing I was in Disney with the DIS girls. He told me well you should have just planned on going since you had a free R/T airfare and Disney passes and only had to pay for hotel or condo and dining. Figures he says that now . Months ago he said once to Disney will have to be enough this year . Anyway hope you all had fun.

Love all these new pics. My favorite is the one of the kids on the tea cups. They are having so much fun...this is one of the best pics of all. It captures the Disney spirit! How cute is that Walrus? I'd never seen him before until the party. I wish they had more rare characters like this out. A friend of mine met the Three Little Pigs a while back at the Christmas Party. I would freak if I walked into the MK and they were meeting. I think I'm the only person in my neighborhood not at Disney this week. I was checking the weather and a couple of days this week were close to 90!!! (And I have Winter clothes packed!) If I have to repack I'm gonna scream!

Maybe just me, but i'd have loved it if my kids fell asleep at the park!!

I didn't want to miss it, but on the hand it's nice to have a minutes peace once in a while too.

It's not exactly hot here today. In the Summer we can all fit into 3 big suitcases for two weeks. Right now I have 5 bags full for 8 nights. How messed up is that? Oh no...not everyone I know but three neighborhood families went this week. Two of those kids happen to be in DS's class. The teacher asked me if DS was out this week and I was like, um, no...we go the week before break. This way the kids don't miss anything but parties and ornament making. Yeah, I know...it sucks to miss the "fun" stuff but they'll have fun at WDW. I will miss my ornaments though. I always look forward to adding their stuff to the tree. Today they went to see the Nutcracker at the Palace. I bet that was nice.

It's better than them missing important school work I guess. But they have so much more fun at Disney anyway. Kayle would probably complain about missing fun stuff at school . I loved that Parade. Thomas was rested up and ready to go the next day which unfortunately was the last day . I knew I should have taken that picture myself, they are just not capable of much .
