I didn't mean too, but I got hooked on your trip report. I have an 8yo and a 5yo and I remember when we took them to WDW 2007.

I am soo sorry to hear little THomas had a fever during your trip. You are right there is nothing worse then a sick child while you are away from home. You can tell from some of the pictures that he is not 100%. My girls get glassy, sunken eyes and then a pale complexion.

I was tickled to see that the CBR cast members did something nice knowing that you had a sick child. It added a little magic!

I am looking forward to more!

Followed the link from your posts in my trip report. I can completely sympathize with having a sick baby on vacation. It's the worst, but how lovely of CBR to send the kids something fun!

I'm a total sweet tea fan too. DH took a picture of me nursing one on our drive down to FL, and then another on the way home.

I know we would. Tommy has no more vacation days until July . We have so much ging on right now, I'm feeling very stressed some days. Believe me I could use a reality escape about now. We have a bounce back booked for October but we might just change and book December 2009 if a good deal comes out.

Hi fellow Jerseygirl. So where in NJ are you from? Well I'm always happy to have another reader . Thanks, Thomas looks pretty ill in those pics for sure. Even when his fever finally goes away he is still not quite right. I don't think the meds helped at all and whatever he had was something viral he got from the park or hotel. CBR was great to the kids! Kaylee was talking about it last night.

For dreams, we are up to 2 but this magical moment for the kids puts us at three . I would rather have not had a sick kid but it sure did help make them feel a bit happier. I agree Disney is the best !!

Hi there and welcome . I just love your trippie even though it was less than magical for you all. I can relate though. We still have a few issues that arise on our trip too. More sickness and more rain. It was so sweet of CBR to do that for the kids . Withdrawl from my daily Sweet tea was kind of tough. I did finally have Tom get me one at MK on our way out of the park one day. CHH serves sweet tea, a DIS friend (one tree hill adict) told me .

Today I'm just going to do a mini update. Life has been crazy lately around here. Between Christmas shopping, Bday parties, and preschool events it has been hectic. Also last week we had parent days at dance. So 3-4 more hours sitting in Kaylee's dance class. I love watching but it does take up so much time. I haven't even had time to go get a simple haircut or get in my routine DR appt/ tests done. Hopefully thing calm down soon between Thanks giving and Christmas. I'm sure most of you are all really super busy right now too .

Anyway a week and a half ago the kids and I went to downtown Knoxville to see Disney on Ice, DIsneyland Adventure. They had so much fun! Thomas still talks about it everyday. Tom stayed home and watched football while we went to our Disney event.

I'll tell you a little bit about the show and post some pics too. It's about a family that goes to Magic Kingdom and has some unmagical moments. The family goes on lots of the Disney rides, then Syndrome(spelling? from incredibles) captures Mickey & Minnie and tries to take over MK. SO the family gets turned inot the incredibles for the second part of the show and they have to look all MK, inside the rides to find them and rescue them. It was a good show and my kids loved it because they love MK and the park music and so do I. My pics are not the best though.

We had the front of the lower tier seats. IMO VIP right in front on the floor are the only ones that are better.

At the end of the Parade is when Mickey & Minnie get captured. Thomas was a bit upset about this of course I told him it was not real and just for the show and to remember nothing is scary at Disney!

The Incredibles... POC pics didn't turn out too good.

Then Minnie & Mickey are rescued.. and they have a parade like Spectromagic.

All the characters come out at the end and they have a few fireworks.

On the way home Thomas said he wants to go to Disney again tomorrow and not wait until next year. I have created a monster .

I might give Coral Reef another chance next year. Surely two years later things would be better. Did you read my latest news???? I'm about to embark on the best Disney trip ever!

We were planning a trip to WDW next fall and staying at CBR in one of the new pirate themed rooms, but we had to cancel because my youngest sister is getting married in Scotland, so I need to pay for that instead. So I am enjoying the trip vicariously through you.
Both of my girls LOVE LOVE LOVE those little rubber Disney Princess dolls. They have pretty much all of them including some of the boys (Aladdin, Prince Charming, & Prince Eric.) I am all the time vacuuming the little shoes up.

We were planning a trip to WDW next fall and staying at CBR in one of the new pirate themed rooms, but we had to cancel because my youngest sister is getting married in Scotland, so I need to pay for that instead. So I am enjoying the trip vicariously through you.

I know where Cherry Hill is. I'm from Wall twp in Monmouth County but we lived in Brick before we moved. Oh those little rubber shoes I have been vacuuming them since DD was 3. There are not too many pairs of those left I bet. Sorry you had to cancel your trip but Scotland and the wedding will make up for it I'm sure .

Thanks. Tom doesn't normally say things like that though. I guess I was a bit surprised. The show is really cute your DD and DS would love it. Mine didn't say one word the whole time. Their eyes were just glued to the ice.

That show looks very similar to a show we saw a couple of years ago. But it can't be the same one - I don't think they would keep a show that long. But it was similar with the whole "park" story and the Incredibles. IDK - maybe it is the same. Looks like the kids had a good time!
