Magical Grand Gathering Trip with Pics. Completed

Kaylee will be wearing knee socks or maybe tights. Depends on what I can find. She said she wasn't hot in the white tights last year with her Tink outfit. I bought her the Alice shoes and headband from Disney Store yesterday. So she is pretty much all set. I have to get Thomas's accesories when we get to Disney. Both of their Costumes are Disney world costume because a kind Disssers gave me the name of her friend that seels the costumes, thanks Tammy :thumbsup2 . Anyway I think the flip flops will be fine, hey its Florida. I thought about wearing flip flops to be Tink :rotfl2: . Maybe I should, but which color?? Don't know what I'll find now that summer is over. I'm losing steam too, getting rundown is more like it. Think I'll be going to the Dr. this week because I have a head cold and I want some antibiotics so I can be completely better before we go. Just 4 more days until you are in Disney :yay: .

I'm getting run down too. :confused3 We cannot get sick before we gon on vacation!!! NO NO NO!!!

I was all set to find some nice fabric to tie my costume back and I just found some red cotton around the house that will do. I'm just done running around. I want to throw the stuff in the suitcase already!!

WOW that's quite a list to accomplish in a week!! Good luck!

The tink costume is so cute!!

Thanks :goodvibes . I hope I can get it all done.

Great list. I'm completely remembering stuff I need to do from yours. Like bathe Samantha. :lmao:

Well I hope we all stay healthy pixiedust: for our trips. The worst part is I'm already PMSing (TMI) LOL. I have not experienced a trip like that before. I hope I don't choke DH  or worse cry over something.

Glad you are able to at least tie that costume back since it's so huge. I don't want to run around anymore either :guilty: but I have so much more running to do with school stuff, kaylee's dance, a few more trips to the store for grocery shopping and to find tights for this costume. I wish I were leaving today. Don't foget to bathe Samantha :goodvibes .
1 week dance!!!!! :yay: :dance3: :cheer2: :dancer:
Thanks Monica :)

:dance3: :dancer: :rockband: :dancer: :jumping1:

The Tinkerbell costume came today. Let's just say I look like Tinker Tubby in it :rolleyes1 . Nothing like the picture online. Not sure if I'm going to grin and wear it or buy myself a Sally T shirt. I don't want to look dumb in it. Kaylee of course said "oh you look so pretty in it" and Thomas thought is was awful  . I think the 4 year old is probably more honest. Might have to make a trip to back to Disney Store. I 'll try it on for Tom when he gets home from work. He will be so mad at me for ordering another costume and not liking it.

Awww - sorry it didn't look as you expected. I'm sure its not as bad as you think - we're always our own worst critic! I think you'd be a cute Tink!

I found light up Halloween shirts at Wal-Mart today. I bought two because I couldn't decide and need to try them on - one is Tinkerbell and the other is just a generic Halloween shirt (not Disney). They both light up though which is kinda cool!

Oh no! I'm sorry Nichole! yeah, those pics online probably have been altered or pinned in the back to make it the most flattering possible.

I'm sure Tom will love it...;) ;)

:rotfl2:

You could always wear a Tink shirt, that way Thomas still gets his "deal". :confused3

Good luck! :goodvibes

Nichole I'm sure you are fine in it. Tie it like I'm doing mine. We can both look crazy together.

UGH. dont you wish the couple days before everything would stop? :lmao: Football, Karate, a million hours of dance. :sad2: YIKES! I need to get off of here! I just cannot! I'm addicted to the DIS rignt now. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Thanks Michelle  . I'm going to try it on later and if I still think it's awful then it will be halloween shirt for sure. I think I might have to go to Walmart and check out those light up ones, they sound cute.

Thanks Sara, i might be looking at some Halloween shirts tomorrow.
The girl in the photo is tall and a size 2  and I'm only I'm 5'2" and certainly haven't been that size since I was 27. Tom gets annoyed with the $$ I spend to ship stuff and then send it back. It seems to fit weird and is poofy in the wrong places. Kind of like a Tutu :scared1: . The size is just a tiny bit loose not bad at all though, better than tight.

It's does look kind of crazy that is for sure. I so need a break from the kids schools, dance school, and just plain running. I'm about to cry because I don't feel like making dinner, LOL. Is it friday yet :guilty: . I can't get off the DIS either.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I think that was the problem we were having with the dining honestly. We are so scheduled at home with activities I just didnt want to be on vacation. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Eating is better than practice though. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I thought about doing takeout every night until vaca because I want the house void of perishable groceries for 2 weeks. I'm considering calling pizza. Bad mommy!!! :lmao:

:lmao: I have been feeling like ordering Pizza alot lately too. Especially today,Thomas had 2 pee accidents. Then they played Moon sand and it everywhere. I think we are already on vacation and that is why we don't feel like doing anything, LOL. I understand though about the ADR's, the last thing you want is to have to be somewhere. I didn't book the dining plan at first either but Tom wanted me to because he likes all the eating at Disney. ithink that is the only reason he goes. Your lucky that you and your DH both love Disney and met on the college program. that is too cute! I tried the costume on again and Tom said "you look so big & green" . He thinks I'm trying to be a kid because I'm dressing. Excuse me for wanted to have fun with my kids. Sometimes I'd like to leave him home :sad2: , one less moody grump to deal with in my happy place. I have to post pics just for fun because I guess I'm returning. At least I don't have to hear rude comments from the rest of the friends too. Sorry to babble but you KWIM :) .

 Aww I'm sorry it didnt work out. You will still have a good time though. What if you blinged out some t-shirts with rhinestones? I know most of the dance moms around here have a huge stash of rhinestones in various colors and a bejeweler. You could make a sweet Mickey Halloween t-shirt in either black or orange!

Hi Nichole! I'm Julia, I found through through someone else's PTR, I'm sure. Have enjoyed your PTR and can't wait to hear the finished product! We might have some overlapping dates, I think. My dates are in my sig.

And I totally know what you mean about dressing up. I want to but the whole comfort issue is what's holding me back. Maybe I'll get my face painted? :confused3

We have that too. But I know I think I will just be comfortable. Today Tom is trying to talk me into wearing the Tink  after he saw how much Kaylee wants me to. Today we have to close the pool and put the furniture and floats away :sad1: . It stinks when summer is over.

3 More Days :dance3: for you!

Hi Julia,
Thanks for reading my pretrip. I agree I just want to be comfortable and have fun. But dressing up is part of the fun. Looks like our trips overlap a bit. I have to check out your pretrip. I'm going to see if i can find a light up Tink shirt today.

I say go for the Tink costume. Have fun and enjoy yourself and your little girl. What's wrong with acting like a kid once a year at Halloween? Life is too serious and hard sometimes. Boys!

Hi Nichole!

I read all the pages of your PTR in the last hour or so! :)

I think you should go ahead and wear the Tink costume - you'll be surprised, there are more costume-wearing adults at MNSSHP than you could imagine!

Last year, DH and I chickened out and wore Jack and Sally matching T-shirts. Later on, I totally regretted not dressing up in a "real" costume like my children did.

I say go for it! :)

I know and I felt so bad when I returned it this morning to Disney Store :guilty: . I agree life is too serious and I shouldn' have cared what the other butt heads thought :rolleyes1 . this morning of course tom felt bad and said "oh you should just be Tink if you want to". I'm kind of annoyed at him for making me feel dumb about dressing up.

Thanks Jen, but it's too late I took the costume back to the Disney Store this morning :guilty: . I think I already regret that decision. Guess what I bought though??? A Sally shirt. I'm sure I'm going to be PO when I get there and see the families having fun all dressed up together. I remember seeing quite a few last year but it was just too hectic last year fro me to even consider it. Not sure if I will just go to Party City and see what they have or not at this point.

Today I took the Tink costume back to Disney Store. I also went to walmart and founf many halloween shirts that light up. I did find the Tink one but they only had size 11/14 and 2/4 left so I'm out of luck unless I check another store. Here is picture of the Tinker bell costume. Figured I would just post it for fun. It's just not very flattering. the first one I bought was but it was too sexy so there was no way I was wearing that to Disney or trick or treating in my neighborhood :lmao: . I might go to Part City tomorrow when I run errands.

I have no clue what Thomas and the dog are doing in this pic. I blame the photographer, Kaylee :) .

You should absolutely go back and get it!!!!!!!
Return that Sally shirt. Think of how fun it will be with Kaylee. Plus it will inject a little kernel of negativity into the party if you have any regrets and you don't want to spend the evening with even a little part of you being annoyed at Tom. You look super cute!
Just my two cents.
