Magical gatherings

Has anyone here done the Wishes Magical Gathering? We are taking our son, his wife, and our 2 grandkids, ages 6 & 8. It sounds spectacular, and if I decide to treat the fact I'll to this, it will be my little secret.

What did you think of it? Was it worth the money?

I'm not sure what you're referring to exactly, when I google Wishes Magical Gathering it just tells me it's the main fireworks show at MK which many just refer to as Wishes. It's included in the price of admission to MK on nights where there is no holiday parties IE MNSSHP.

Back in 2011 when I went to Disney World with a group of 14 they were offering "Magical Gatherings" for large groups. I think there were 3 or 4 different ones available. We did the International dinner with Illuminations viewing. We ate an international food buffet in the Odysey building at Epcot, danced with some characters, had our picture taken and went down to a roped off viewing area for Illuminations. As far as I can tell they are not doing these any more.
