Magical Gatherings

hey everyone
ok so we are going in December with a group of ten people. we have all of our reservations made for our hotel and all of our meals. however we were watching the vacation planning dvd and saw how you can get special tours and vip seats and especially the pirate cruise to view the fireworks. so my question is this. would it be worth it for us to do this even though we have our meals and hotel to just get the specail pirate cruise, and more importantly can we do just that or do we have to be more involved in the magical gatherings stuff.

We did MG last year, and you can certainly only do the things that work for your family. You don't HAVE to do anything if you don't want to. By the way, our favorite experience by far was the Magical Firework Voyage. Everyone had a blast!
