Magical Gatherings Planner

I'm not sure this is the correct place to post this question. Moderators, please feel free to move to correct forum. I downloaded the Magical Gatherings planner and installed it on my computer. I setup a group and selected some favorites. I even invited other members to join. It has been working fine for about a week. For the past two days, when I start the Magical Gatherings Planner, instead of retrieving my group information, it pops up a window that only allows me to "Create a new group" or "Join an existing group". Neither work. I even tried removing the Magical Gatherings Planner and reinstalling. Still have the same problem. Has anyone else that is using the Magical Gatherings Planner experienced this problem?

Yes, I was trying to use it today and the exact same thing happened. Must be having a computer glitch. Hopefully they will fix it soon.

I'm glad I found this post....I thought I screwed mine up. I haven't been able to access for a couple of days and I'm getting the same pop up box.

Ahhhh....I thought it was just my computer. I get the same thing too. It was frustrating too. Glad to know others are having problems too. Not that you're having the problem, but that I'm not going crazy!

Ditto here. I went away for a couple of weeks and I thought that it had somehow lost my settings in my absence. I hope they fix it soon!

I downloaded this when it first came out. Nothing but problems. My sister never was able to download it at all. By now you would think Disney would have it worked out.

i'm glad I found this too...I emailed the support people elling them how frustrated I was about the situation and nothing back yet. I thought it was just me too.

Try uninstalling it and re-installing it. I had this problem several months ago when planning family trip for July. The program is a pain in the neck and takes up tons of memory to run. BIL was able to use it but MIL could never get it loaded so it was kind of a waste for us. We wound up using 3-way calling to do most of our scheming.

Ours was working great too, until Saturday 7/31 and then it quit functioning. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing. I have sent them an email too with no response.

I un-installed and re-installed and emailed them.

They actually e-mailed back and said they believe they fixed my problem and to try it again.

It started malfunctioning (sp?) again after that.

I give up, Cell phone has free long distance.

Whew! I feel much better now. I'm an IT person (not for WDW) and it was making me nuts The problem is definately on their end because I can see a very small message that says "Fetching group...please wait". It then goes out to their site and fails. Who would you contact on their end?

I can get back in too. All my stuff is gone, but I don't mind doing it again! It's fun planning!

I have had that same problem! Thank goodness that someone else is having problems with the program. I have sent an email to Disney also. I can't any of the other people in our group(14 people) to use it. I am the only one, but then again I have been voted as the group leader.

Did you enter a gather number? The number is given to those groups of 8 or more.

I've installed it and had no problems. Works well with disneys website too.
