Magical Gatherings mornings at Tonys ???

Just wondering if anyone who has gone to WDW with a grand gathering has done the breakfast at Tony's? How early does it start, how long does it last, do you get into the park early and is it worth it if you want to hit MK after or does it mess up getting to Fantasyland early??? I see in the DP brochure that you only need 1 ts credit for this so thought it might be one of our group meals together. Thanks for your help

I just posted a thread asking for more info on the Grand Gathering at Tony's. The only things I know are from what the CM said when we booked. We have to arrive at 8:30, but our ressie isn't until 9:00...I think this has something to do with being there to see rope drop, but I am not sure. Mickey is the only guarenteed character there, but the CM said that there would be at least 6 and that the children are encouraged to get up and interact with the characters. Tony will acknowledge any birthday's and anniversaries and I have heard that he ceranades you with "Bella Note" After breakfast you are escorted to Philharmagic where you are given special seating.

We were scheduled to do this in 9/06. Our time slot was cancelled for some reason, but we weren't notified. It wasn't until I called to try and change the time that I found out. By then, I couldn't get any other time. Just check before you go.

Bumping this up to add:

We have ADR's for this in August that I'm really tempted to cancel. Haven't really heard many good reviews for it. I wish Tony's would just go back to offering the great non character TS Breakfast they used to have.
