Magical Gatherings - money saver?

I'm looking into a family reunion trip. Does Magical Gatherings save money, or is there some other special benefit to doing it? Would it be better for everyone just to book their own packages?

If you will be booking 10 or more rooms you can save money with a Magical Gatherings group (actually ANY group booking that many can save 35% on rooms). Otherwise I think it's just the special events perks you are entitled to, there are 4 of them listed on the official site. Plus you can order special merchandise. We are a Magical Gatherings group going in Sept.05.
