Magical Extras Savings Card

Does anyone know anything about the Magical Extras Savings Card that is offered in the Disneyland package? I can't find anything about where it can be used.

This is all the info I have: "Exclusive! Magical Extras Savings Card - A special card offering savings and values of 10%-20% off at many participating dining and merchandise locations throughout the Disneyland Resort."

Is it worth it?

I hadn't heard of this before, so I looked it up and saw the promotion that you must have also seen- the fine print says "Valid for 2015 arrivals only" so this is something new.

The promotion looks very similar to previous packages, but without the character meal voucher - maybe this is in place of the voucher.

Thanks for your reply. I noticed that too. A list of where it can be used would be helpful. We're trying to figure out if we're better off booking room only and adding extras or sticking with the package we currently have booked. I guess I'll find out once people start using it in January!

I emailed Disney to see if I could get a list of participating outlets. This was their response...

"Your Magical Extras Savings Card is valid for select discounts on Shopping and Dinning in the Downtown Disney District, Theme Park Tours and Disney PhotoPass prints. The details of these discounts will be listed in the Vacation Travel Documents that will be sent to the address provided at the time of booking 24 days prior to your arrival - and will typically arrive 21 days before your trip."

Hope this info is helpful for people travelling in 2015.
