Magical Express

Has anyone used Disneys Magical Express service from Orlando International?

I am a travel agent in the UK and seen it on the Disney Travel Agents website. We are returning in Sep with Virgin Holidays, can anyone tell me if they have used this service?

Many here have used DME. Actually, I think it's about 6,000 - 10,000 people PER DAY have used it. About 240 days times 6,000 people equals at least 1.44 MILLION DME users so far (and as many as 2.4 million). And with all those users, I've read less than 10 legitimate negative experiences on these boards. I used it on May 8, its 4th day of existence. I found it to be excellent -- efficient, friendly, convenient, you name it. For me and my wife and our 2 pre-school kids, it was certainly magical.

I've used it three times so far...June, August, Nov/Dec. Each time it has been terrific. My luggage has gotten to where it should be with no problem and in a timely fashion. I haven't had to wait more than 15 minutes before boarding a bus at the airport and then never more than 10 mins. before heading off to the resorts. I'll continue to use DME, even if they start charging for it, especially if I'm traveling solo. Of course, once you get to more than 3 in your party, it starts to make more sense to book a towncar if DME costs $30 pp at some point. But, we haven't heard when/if they will start charging.

We used it last week, on 12/26 and 1/1, and even though it was one of the busiest times of the year, there was virtually no wait for the buses and our luggage arrived exactly where it was supposed to. We thought that Magical Express was wonderful and hope it will be permanent. Even if WDW begins to charge for this service it will be worth it.
