Hi,

Okay, this will be our 5th trip to WDW since 2001, so you'd think I wouldn't have AS many questions of this nature, but oh well.

Anyways, we are staying at the Contemporary, but we are using our DVC points. (This is our first trip "home" ). Since we aren't technically paying for the hotel, are we guaranteed a ride on the ME, or do we need to pay for that? I wasn't sure how that process worked - if it was based on a paid package or if it was just available to anyone staying on property.

Yes, DVC members are included. Used ME for our Nov trip and will again in Mar. No problems at all. The only bad part about not using a town car was that we didn't have a grocery stop.

DME is for everyone who meets all of the following:
Flying to/from MCO;
Staying at a WDW owned-and-operated resort;
Named on the room reservation as a guest.

So, package or no package makes no difference.
DVC or non-DVC makes no difference.
One-way or round-trip makes no difference.
The one thing you CAN'T do is use DME as a luggage-only service when you arrive at MCO (if you don't ride the bus, your luggage won't be delivered). On the way back, however, if you are flying a "participating" airline you can use the Resort Airline Check-in to send your luggage back to the airport no matter how you yourself get there.

For the previous poster who missed having a grocery stop, there are several grocery delivery options. I used and loved Gooding's (www.goodings.com), and others here have used and loved Wegoshop (www.wegoshop.com).
