Magical Express

Hi,

I'll try to make this as short as possible. In January i will be staying with DH at the Hilton for his works annual service meeting. Then we will check into Port Orleans for a few days after his meetings are over.
My question is: will we be able to take the Magical Express to the airport so we can pick up our rental car for our drive back home?

Or is this shuttle strictly for guests that have flights.

Yes.

I have to say I am not clear on whether you actually have to enter a flight time, but you can pick ANY domestic flight that leaves about 3 hours after you want to get to the airport.

Are you getting the car from the airport because that is the best price? The only reason I ask is it is possible to rent from the Car Car Center and you can request a free shuttle pick up from your resort. Unless the airport is the direction you would head home and/or the best price you can get is from the airport rental companies, I would just rent from on property and then head on out from there.

you can also rent cars from National or Alamo at the Dolphin resort.

We are renting a car through my husbands work. So we'll be getting the rental at the airport. We have rented a car through National car rentals at the airport before after a cruise. But i wanted to make sure we can use Magical Express(complimentary) from the hotel to the airport.

I guess i would just ask at the hotels front desk when we arrive.
As long as we can use the shuttle, Magical Express we're good. I would hate to pay for a taxi

If you find you can't use magical express, you may want to check to see if Uber would be better than a taxi

I would not wait until you get there. ME buses to MCO are often rather full. I would set it up in advance.

Magical Express can be added to either a room only or a package reservation. If you made your res directly thru Disney call them to add it just for your return, don't need flight info yet. If through another booking source, go to www.disneymagicalexpress.com to register and give them flight information. Just find a flight that leaves approx. 3 hours after you want the ME bus pick up.

Thanks everyone,
I found the number for Magical Express and gave them a call.
We can use them even if it's only to pick up a rental car ~~No flight. You have to be checking out that day to go to the airport to pick up the car. Then they will take you. You don't have to have a flight scheduled.
They said to just give them a call a couple days in advance so you can get a voucher that they will send over to the resort.
