What if someone extra decides to come along with us at last minute. We are staying at a DVC resort, and have room for extras in our room. If we show up at the DME counter with an extra person, will they allow them on the motor coach.

Anyone who rides on DME needs to have an advance reservation. To get a reservation on DME a person needs to be listed on a resort reservation.

So, in your scenario the person likely would not be able to ride DME. You would need to add them to your resort reservation and make a separate reservation on DME after that,
