Wow, after reading all of this great advice, I have become obsessed with these boards. We will be flying in and staying at Pop for one night and then heading over to Poly for 5 nights and I just can't wait. I wanted to take advantage of the extra day we had in park tickets.

Question is: I got magical express and I was sent tickets for both resorts. Can I put my poly tags on my bags and have my bags sent straight there? They are dated for Aug 30th but we arrive on the 29th. We don't get in to Disney until late ( 8pm) and will only have a carry on at Pop with us and plan to get to Poly early so we can get our tickets and go to a park since our package is booked with them. Am I making sense? I have read in these boards that it takes several hours for your bags to arrive to your hotel, since we aren't getting in until late we won't need those bags until we get to Poly the next day after the park. Or should I let bellhop hold them and send them over to Poly upon check out? Thanks for you help!!

You'll have no choice but to have the bags sent to Pop. But the good news is, you won't actually have to lay your hands on them. Do just as you wrote at the end of your post ... when you get to Pop, tell the front desk and Luggage Assistance that you don't want your DME bags delivered to your room, and instead you want them held and then transferred to Poly the next morning. You should have no trouble at all.

By the way, DME packets get generated for each reservation number, an odd glitch in the system. That's why you got 2 separate packets. The luggage tags in the Poly package are worthless, so throw them out to avoid confusion.

And most importantly ... :welcome: :disrocks:

Transferring baggage between resorts where you have consecutive reservations is a service Disney offers to all guests. The transfer usually occurs during the afternoon. This is separate from Magical Express.

Be sure to reconfirm/modify your Magical Express return from the last resort to the airport at least two days in advance. Of course last minute adjustments can be made if the paper put under your door one day in advance is not right or doesn't appear.

Thanks so much. I was reading your link and would be interested in this place in Maine, can you tell me more? It's funny, the friends we go on yearly vacations with (disney too) were just talking about going to Maine next year. Thanks again!:dance3:
