Magical Express with multiple flights

We are new members and will be taking my parents along on our first trip this fall. I've not stayed in the same room as them since Magical Express started, and was wondering about how it will work with multiple flights. Will ME send the luggage tags to two addresses? Do I have to have both sets of flight info before I call, or will two calls be OK? Will the resort check-in go smoothly with multiple flights/airlines? I'm sure Disney deals with this sort of thing all the time, but was curious about how well it works. Thanks!

Yes, you can do this - no problem!

You can go ahead and make the DME reservation now and then add the flights as you book them.

The DME package will be mailed to the reservation holder - (you). You can then forward the necessary vouchers and luggage tags on to your parents.

DME info packet, with vouchers and luggage tags, are sent to the lead person on the reservation. This means that if you made the reservation, you will get the packet. You don't need to have flight info in hand when you make the DME reservations. You can call them and have the info added when you make the flight reservations.
Are you all in one room/villa? If so, there won't be any issue. And it doesn't matter what flights you come in on...even if it's two different flights. Each person just tags their bags and the bags will get to the resort just fine. We've actually arrived on different days with no issues.
The only issue you 'might' have is if you arrive after your parents. I'm not sure they will be allowed to check in if the room/villa is in your name. I would ask about that.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like the only potential hiccup is the luggage tags. I'll just have to be on top of things and mail then with plenty of time. We should arrive before my parents, so the room check in should be alright.
