Magical Express - who's paying for it?

Should we start to ask has to pay for backtop for parking lots? I don't drive-I used to take a town car(but have rented a car for 1 day). Please look at the big picture-you want a hotel with ammenties, not a bare bones place. If I wanted that I would stay at a Value resort(no disrespect to values) and not have purchased a DVC contract.

If you think your fees are high now...just wait as buildings age more and more. OKW was the first DVC property...I am sure the road surfaces are beginning to age(usually10-20) year life span.

When I purchased DVC I was fully aware that there will be major hikes in member dues. I know that in a 40 year contract a hotel will go through 2-3 major renovations. That does not include the soft furnishings that are on a standard replacement cycle. I would think that the 23% increase in transportation costs might also reflect the high gas increases.

Also wanted to add that I had a 200% increase in my insurance on my resort rental property. Market factors play a huge part in increases.
