Magical Express to the Fort

We have college younguns coming in for the Food and Wine Festival but their flight doesn't get in till around 9:30 PM. Does anyone know how late the Magical Express runs? We are giving them $$$ in case they need to use a cab but hoping Magical Express will be running late enough for them.

It runs 24/7, but,
Luggage delivery service is available for flights arriving between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. daily. For airport arrivals after 10:00 p.m., Guests must collect their luggage at Baggage Claim and transport it with them on the motor coach.

My wife and I would frequently arrive at 11:30PM on a flight from Houston and would get to the resort on average between 12:15-12:30ish AM by the time we got on the bus etc., though we didnt check bags. Just to give you a time idea minus getting bags. I have found the wait for a bus in the late evening to be very short compare to arriving during prime time due to the grouping of busses. Not sure if this is intentional, just seemed like at 11PM they would batch a bunch of stops on 1 bus making it a short wait.

LOL, yes I have called them, TWICE. Now they have the correctd dates and flight numbers on the website but not the flight times. We received one packet from them that was incorrect which caused me to call again. Still haven't received the new packet but we have a little time until we leave.

Clint - Thanks for the timeline. I was curious how long it took at that time of night.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. The past few years my parents have driven down in the RV, and I fly down to meet them, taking the DME to the Fort. Most of my stuff is pre-packed in the RV, and I just bring a carry on.

I've had a year where my DME info was wrong, and another year my DME package never arrived. I'm leaving next week, and I haven't recieved my DME package again this year.

Each time it hasn't been at issue at the airport. Just make sure the folks flying in have your WDW resort confirmation #, and that thier names are on the reservation. The flight times can be wrong, and you don't need any paperwork ... they can check your confirmation # and names at the DME desk, and they'll get them on a bus. I've been through it before twice, and never had any issue or delay with the DME folks.

Just double check that thier names are on the ressie and they have the resort confirmation # to present at Orlando airport

EDIT: Just wanted to add that the one year my flight # was correct on the website, but the flight time was wrong ... again wasn't a problem at all getting on a DME bus when I arrived
