I don't know if this has been posted, but I wanted to pass along this tip from our recent trip to Disney from June 20th to June 23rd.
When we arrived at the Magical Express area, one of the CM's asked if we had our ME booklet. I did not have the complete booklet, as I thought we would only need the tickets from the booklet to board the bus. Everyone who showed up with the complete booklet was allowed to head straight for the bus lines. Since we did not have our booklet and only the ME tickets taken from the booklet, we were forced to wait in another line to get our tickets "validated" first before heading to the bus lines.
I have no idea why having the complete booklet is different from having the tickets that were taken from book, but this was our experience in June. I figured I would not need the book since we have used ME before and we knew the location in the airport. Besides the tickets for the bus, the book only has info on how to get to the ME area and your flight info.
So...my tip is to make sure to bring your complete ME booklet instead of just bringing the tickets. It would have saved us a good 20 minutes of waiting in line to get our tickets "validated" at the desk before moving on to the bus lines.
During the 20 minute wait for "validation", I noticed that they were consistent on this rule...as everyone with their complete book was allowed to skip the counter and everyone without a book or with only the tickets was forced to stand in line at the counter for "validation".
