Magical Express TAGS????

With the new rules for baggage allowance -- Are we suppose to get our luggage -- They only sent us 1 tag for each person -- but now we have 2 checked bags????

Call magical express and they will send you more tags. We did this in December and they arrived by UPS within a week.

If you aren't going this week, call Magical Express (number will be in your packet) and explain your problem. I'm sure that they will send you out additional tags. If there isn't enough time, I think that they will ask you to hand over your baggage tags with a description of each bag, and then they will collect all of your bags for you. A quick call, though, will reassure you either way. Have a great time!

This happened with us when we flew down in October, had 3 checked bags but only 2 ME tags (didn't even look at the # of tags until it was too late to order extras!). If ME can't send you extra tags in time, all you need to do is give them your baggage info from the airline and they'll find them. I was nervous about our extra bag getting lost but it made it to the room safe & sound!

I was thinking of checking two bags and letting ME claim my extra bag but isn't that bag going to end up sitting on the luggage carousel by itself for a long time.

Worst case scenerio? You could just claim the bag itself that does'nt have a ME tag.Call me a sceptic and although we havent had any issues with ME I would rather just claim it myself and KNOW it was there. This brings up any interesting point though ,luckily last time we had enough tags but if the new restrictions become permanent then one should be checking with ME or your TA to make sure enough tags are coming as ours arrived last year a little over a week before we left and we had none to spare.

That's a good point. You've gotta figure the airlines must be swimming in checked baggage due to the new regulations, and ME is probably overloaded with bags as a result too. Might be better to bring your own bags on the DME this trip just for peace of mind and to avoid delays.
