Magical Express Tags-Got them?

Hi everybody!

I have heard that most people dont recieve their ME tags at all so I was wondering if anyone who DID recieve them could possibly scan them into the computer and post them so I can make my own ME tags that look similar. Someone said to use yellow ribbons to ID them but Id rather do this so they will definatly recognise them.

Many people have been receiving their ME tags. No need to scan and print anything. If you don't receive them in time just go the the DME booth with your luggage and they will tag them and deliver them to your resort.

We received ours yesterday...we're leaving for WDW in 21 days. If you don't receive them soon, you can follow safetymom's advice. You also might want to try giving them a call if you're concerned about whether or not they have your info.

We received our tags yesterday (Monday). We're leaving in 17 days. All our information was correct. We have a late evening flight (arrive around 11 p.m.), so our plan is to carry-on our bags on the way to MCO and check them returning.

I still have not recieved my tags and Im leaving in a few days so Im bumping my thread to see if someone will please show me what the tags look like so I can make some like them?

(the point of asking for the ME service is so you dont have to worry about your luggage so Id rather not have to pick it up myself )

You don't have to pick it up yourself. Just hand them the claim checks that you get from the airline, and they will find your bags. Have a little faith in pixie dust!!

Well, we were one of the first flights into MCO when it re-opened after the hurricane last year. DCL staff wrote down our baggage claim numbers, told us the bags would be delievered to our room at POR. We got to WDW around 1p.m., went to downtown disney, got back to our room around 8:00P.M. Called bell services about our bags, he said the delivery truck was just getting there. Five minutes later we had our bags.

I figure if they could do taht then with no special baggage tags, this should be a breeze.

I would be happy to scan our luggage tags for you, if you still want them, if you pm me (will have to be this evening, though). Ours arrived about 18 days before our departure date but are wrong. They have our luggage arriving 8/15 (we arrive 8/11), and the luggage is tagged to go to WL (we are going to ASsp). Some ME CMs told us to just marker out the WL and date and write in the correct stuff, but last night a manager called us back (we did NOT expect a call back, we thought this was all settled). The manager told us NOT to marker out, correc, and use...that the barcode is the important thing. So if you make something to look like the ME tags, or adjust and print out mine (which you can feel free to do), just make sure to edit out the barcode.

I COMPLETELY understand why you want the tags. We were pretty darned upset when ours arrived and were wrong, and we were told that they could not send new ones since now it is less than 21 days till we leave. They won't FedEx, not even if you offer to pay for it.

I just booked a very last minute trip...next Friday...and I know there is no way I'll be getting my tags by then. But, when we traveled last month, we had booked DME in March and got our packet about 4 days before we left. Left on Sat., June 18 and got the tags on Tuesday before that.
I'm going to do carryon this time since it's such a short trip...won't have to worry about my bags.

We are not leaving until August 20 and my tags came in the mail yesterday. I was really surprised, it did not take long at all.

We had our mail held while we were in Wisconsin.. it was delivered yesterday and sometime during that 5 days our ME packet with tags came! I was quite surprised as when I called about using the service about 37 days ago... the CM said I possibly wouldn't get my tags because it was "right around the corner". Soooo... we got them... and we leave in...16 DAYS~ Can't wait!!!!!
