Magical Express tag question - where to put

This is a silly question but I'm not sure where to put the ME yellow tags. We're bring duffle bags not suitcases and I thought I'd put the yellow tag on the shoulder strap but I'm afraid it won't be seen. The duffle bags also have 2 straps that snap together to carry it by hand but I thought when/if they search our duffles they would rip the tags getting into the duffles. I know I'm a worry wart but I want to make sure the yellow tags are seen. My DH says just put 2 tags on each duffle since we're checking 1 bag per person.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Before you snap those two handles together, put the yellow tag on one of them. Then snap them together. It will be seen, it will not rip off. That's what I do.

I would do as a GoofyforTink said. Don't put it on the shoulder strap, in our experience, when checking this type of bag they want you to remove the strap and place it in the bag. Of course, if the strap is removeable.

or, if you can remember, worst case, just take the tag with you unattached and have the airline / skycap tag it where they put their own tags.

Thanks this will work...never thought of that. I guess I'm just getting a little frazzled by all the packing and planning. Makes sense! Thanks!
