Has anyone made their reservations for the Magical Express yet? I was planning on using it in May, since it will save us quite a bit of money. The thing is, we will start with 4 people, all coming down on the same flight, so no problem. 2 are leaving on Monday, but 2 of us are staying another night in Disney and then going to Universal. Does anyone know how Disney will handle this? Technically the hotel reservation they are on will still be ongoing, although I will drop the 2 extra adults from the room since that is $30 that I don't need to spend.

Anyone with any experience with this yet?

I wouldn't think it would be too much of an issue. My dh as decided to join my dd and I in June but he's only staying for part of the time. He'll leave on a Wed morning very early. We don't leave until the following Sunday afternoon! I'm assuming that he will be able to just do his airline check-in at the desk at BWVs and then take the bus to MCO for the 7:30 flight.
If anyone has info to the contrary let us know please!

You will probably have to arrange that on the phone with Central Reservations. It can't be done online.

I'm in a similar situation for my December trip. I'm checking out on the 7th, but my flight won't be till 5:30 am on the 8th.

I will sleep in, have my luggage stored, then spend the evening at the parks and the night at Pleasure Island. By the time it closes, I can take a bus back to my resort and only have a few minutes wait till it's time to head for the airport.

I spoke with MS yesterday about this. They assure me that any combination works. Offical date to make ME reservations is in March. MS said they are still adding carriers and finalizing details

We are arriving early to visit with relatives but wish to use ME for return trip. MS said no problem

Due to difficulty with Delta and using are earned frequent flyer miles (DH and DS#1 are flying and arriving at MCO at a different time than myself and DS#2), we were concerned about this too. I am hoping to go standby with DS#1 and DH and we will all be on the same flight. However, in case we are not DIsney has our 2 different flight arrival times into MCO. They said this is nooooo problem for them. I guess we will see. I also told them DH will have all the bags, if we fly separately.... hehehe. Good deal for me. :cool1:
