Do you have to tip the driver?
Its customary.Do you have to tip the driver?
If the driver handles your bags. Its customary.
I'll bite... why tip the driver if he doesn't handle your bags? Do you tip the driver taking you to/from the parks? We usually take our bags on the bus, so we do tip the driver. If we have all bags delivered to the resort, we give him a smaller tip.
We generally don't use Disney bus service to/from parks. I tip the Minnie Van, Lyft/Uber drivers, so I tip DME too.I'll bite... why tip the driver if he doesn't handle your bags? Do you tip the driver taking you to/from the parks?
I usually don't unless they are handling my bag. If I was them do something special for another guest I might give them $2.Resurrecting this thread to ask:
If bag handling is not part of it, how much do you tip? $5? $3?

So every single DME driver is putting the bags under the bus out of the goodness of their hearts? Sorry, not buying they're not getting paid for moving your luggage 10' (5' onto to the bus and 5' off).Their job that they get paid for doing is driving a bus.
Magical Express inc!udes your luggage going from your home airport all the way to your room.
Guests who choose to not avail themselves of the luggage transport ccmponent - either consciously or by arriving outside the operating hours - thus create additional work for the bus drivers, beyond their actual jobs for which they get paid.
Therefore, tip.
