Magical Express Question??

We are going to be staying off site from Oct 1-7. I am toying with the idea of staying another two days possibly on site after my family leaves. I would like to return the rental car however, when my family leaves and just use the disney transportation for those two days. Could we then use Magical Express to get to the airport?

We're doing something similar in May since we are going to the beach for 3 days before going to WDW. We're renting a car at the airport, returning it at WDW car care center the day after we check-in onsite. We have a 1-way reservation on Magical Express for our return to the airport.

Some arrangements have been made, reservation wise, if you were to stay on site for just part of your vacation, this has been done on a case by case basis. Since Magical Express has not yet begun, there is no evidence as to how well this has worked out.

You would have no problem taking Magicl Express back to the airport if your on-site stay ended with your last day, or taking Magical Express to Disney if your on site stay began with your first day.

If your airline is not represented at the Disney resort airline check in desk, you would carry your baggage to the Magical Express bus yourself and check it at the airport.
