Magical Express question

Hello Disney Friends!

We are arriving at MCO on Aug 22 and taking a rental car to do some touring around Florida Aug 22 and 23.

We plan on returning the car to MCO around 10PM on Sunday Aug 23.

1) When we return our rental car, can we hope aboard the Magical Express and enjoy transportation to CSR?

2) Will CSR allow us to check in very late at night?

If you tell the magical express folks a flight number and airline that is on Sunday August 23rd around 10pm, they will be able to set you up with Magical Express for that day.

CSR will let you check in as late at 2am - that is what time we checked in at CSR. So my guess is you could check in even later if you want.

We will have our luggage on hand with us. I know they look for the luggage off the plane and load it automatically. Will there be an issue with us bringing our luggage to the desk with us?

Will they be requesting to see paperwork to confirm the flight numbers?

You will have no issues bringing your luggage with you the driver will store the bags under the bus for you and retrieve them when you arrive.

As far as DME you do need advance reservations but they really don't care when or how you arrived at the airport so the only paperwork you will need is an advance reservation. In fact you don't need that paperwork if you have your magic bands with you (highly recommended!)

If you call DME directly you won't have to use a flight number just tell them the day and time you want transportation. The only requirement is that you are a Disney resort guest on the day you want transportation.

You can arrive at MCO via a plane, cab or yak......DME doesn't much care. The thing they do care about is that you have a WDW resort reservation in effect the day you arrive and want to ride the bus.
You can call them and make your reservation...no need to give any flight info. You can do it online if you want and put in bogus flight info. You could find a flight that arrives in the same time frame that you will be getting back to MCO, but you don't have to. Just be sure you make the reservation!!! They are not supposed to allow anyone without an existing DME reservation on that bus.
