Magical Express Question

Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong thread - if you suggest a better one let me know and I'll be happy to move.

Question up front - Will Magical Express let me book my departure for a day further out from my checkout day or do I need to schedule for my checkout date then change at the front desk? If so, has anyone ever had to change their departure date with Magical Express and if so, has it been an issue?

Details on why -

Going to BWV in Oct for Tower of Terror 10 Miler and my parents have been very generous and given myself and a friend a studio for our stay from Oct 4th – 9th. My parents are also staying at BWV at the same time, but not leaving until the 11th.
Side note – You’d think I was 14 again and my parents are letting me bring a friend to the beach so I don’t annoy them the whole time

My friend is flying home on the 9th but I’m planning to stay an extra day in the studio with my parents. Member Services can’t add me to their reservation as I’m already on another at the same time, just suggested I go to the front desk and let them know of the addition to the room at that time.

I bet you can change your ME departure without any problems. Just call them.

That was my thought, thinking I'll just give them my arrival info them book my return when I get there.

Have your parents go down and have you added the day before you are to 'checkout'..then they can add you to the DME as well.

They should be able to add you for the last night now...don't understand what the issue is...you are scheduled to check out and then check in at a different resort...should be no problem unless they already have four names on their studio reservation..???

A friend of mine recently stayed at POP for 3 nights and then went to Universal for a business conference, staying there for 3 nights. She made a roundtrip DME reservation even though she was going to Universal after. She got a ride back to POP after her conference and was able to change the DME return reservation to that day even though she checked out 3 days before.

They can't add my name to a reservation that is for the same time frame (my parents is just for two days longer). I'll just wait until I get there and change it! Thanks for everyone's help!
