Magical Express Question

We get into MCO around noon. We will be travelling with an 11 DS, 3 DD and 13 month old DS. Would it be better to grab lunch before leaving the airport and getting on the bus or waiting until we got to Disney? I am not sure how long it will take to get to the hotel (we are staying at the Polynesian). I would hate for it to take a couple of hours and then have three irritable starving kids. However, I would also hate to be stuck at the airport longer than necessary.

Any advice would be appreciated!

I believe it takes about an hour. It depends on the busses and how many are waiting before you. I didn't really time it.

We arrived and were the first ones in our bus line up.

I always have food with me when flying so I can eat if I'm hungry. I'd just pack some extra snacks for the kids and get to the resort asap.

We usually buy something at the airport for DS's to eat on the plane, that way no one is starving (and cranky) when we land. We always have lunch when we get to the resort.

I would pack snacks in your carry on enough to tie them over until you get into the resort. The Metro from the plane to the airport is about 10 mins, then waiting for your luggage, then the bus ride is about an hour and then you're at your resort. I usually figure an hour and a half between touchdown to resort. We book a meal at least 3 hours out from our landing time and we've been fine. However you can grab something at the food court, but I'd pack some extra snacks to munch on the plane.

The last time we flew, We spent a ton of money at the airport for food! This time we will bring sandwiches and save lots of money!!! all we will have to buy is drinks after the security checkpoint
