My family and I are DVC members. We received our ME luggage tags today. My question is, why did they send me two seperate sets of luggage tags? Two envelopes, two sets of luggage tags. Four luggage tags per person. They have never done this before. The only difference I can see is that one set of tags says "DVC HOLD-SARATOGA SPRINGS. What does that mean? Which ones should I use? Has anyone else had this happen to them? Help please.

Did you change anything with ME-flight, airline, etc. after your intial entry? If not, then check both sets of tags to ensure that your reservation number matches the confirmation number for your resort and use that set of tags.

You can use either set of tags. If you are staying at SSR, I'd use the ones marked DVC Hold - since it seems they will hold those bags to send to SSR. (If you are NOT staying at SSR - then I wouldn't use those tags! )

They sometimes do send out multiple sets of DME documents. It just means the computer hiccupped and you got both sets - or else they think you'll have that much luggage!

I wouldn't worry about the extra documents - just enjoy DME and your vacation!

The first set says DVC HOLD-SARATOGA SPRINGS with the name of the person printed twice. The second set just has the name of the person printed twice. The second set is the way we usually receive them.

We just received tags with DVC Hold on them as well. We'll see what happens!

i'd use the ones with the hotel name on them so they know where to send your bags.

I got two sets of tags for our trip last month. I finally figured out it was because I had originally booked a reservation for Saturday through Monday, and then wait listed for the Friday. The waitlist came through, and the reservations were linked, but one set of ME tags had the Friday date, and the other set had the Saturday date. Moral of the story: check the dates on the tags, or ticket books, carefully.
