Magical Express question...

Not sure if this is the right place, so feel free to move it if necessary...

I'm flying down Christmas Day to meet up with my parents who are also flying in ~ and we'll hang out with my CM sis. We're doing Magical Express from the airport, and I have a question about the luggage tags.

We used ME before, but I had my bag with me ~ the no liquid thing wasn't in place at that time, so I could take all my contact lens stuff, make-up, etc on the plane with me. Since I can't anymore, I have to check my bags. I put the tag on as instructed, matching the edges up and all. But there are still some wrinkles in the part that sticks together. Will that be ok still or should I try it again with the second tag I have since I'll only have one bag? (Overly big for 4 days, but it's either go big or go small. And not knowing what presents will look like...I figure it's better to have more room and not need it.)

wrinkled tags are not a problem... i've never been able to line mine up and stick 'em "right" and they've always shown up in our room

I say this in a kind way, NOT in a sarcastic way ...

You will be the only person in Florida who cares if your tag is smooth or wrinkly. The various people who are responsible for handling and routing your bag surely won't care and won't notice.

I was just concerned if they had to scan it. I know my New York Pbulic Library card keytag won't scan anymore because it got bent ~ the result of it being longer than any other keytags. That was the only reason.

They will scan it, but again, dont sweat it, the most important thing is that it has the tags on it. There is a lot of info to be used without scanning it also. And new scanners amaze me at how they read messed up barcodes anyway. I'm sure that WDW's scanners arent quite as picky as the NY library ones. And again, even if they are, the tag itself is the more important item.
